Crotch, apparently no one has taught you this yet so please let me give you a little tip:

After you wipe your arse, the paper goes in the toilet and then you push the shiny silver handle down. This is what people mean when they use the word "flush".

If you take my advice, I have no doubt that your home will immediately begin to smell better (at least a little!).

MSU moral victories: 4

If you win for 28 consecutive years, you can tie it up. That will not happen. Even if MSU goes 2 for 1 with UM from here on out, you are looking at 80 years before MSU ties this series. Everyone on this board and their children will be long dead and gone before that happens.

Just to put the dominance in perspective.

Let me see if I have this straight, dumbnoclass2002:

You will take credit for Griz wins as far back as 1897 but the Cats National Championships in 1956, 1976, & 1984 don't count?

Can you say hypocrite? (I doubt it)

History only counts if your a Griz (i.e. The Griz reminiscing about there 1995 championship team anniversary on opening game this year). That is ancient history people! (at least according to Griz fans :) ). I can see it now .. Davey Dick coming out of the football helmet with the song GLORY DAYS blaring in the background and all the fans hugging/kissing each other. :)

Good point UMclass, and thanks for sharing the history. After we put the hurt on you in Bozeman again this year, I'm sure the celebration will be short lived because we'll all be thinking back to the years we lost to you. Dang It!

Yup I remember winning in 2003 and then thinking "damn, they have almost two times as many wins in the series, I better stop celebrating."

History comforts the weak.

We don't care if you celebrate about last year, you have every right to.

You're right, we should probably just focus on the last 20 years or so.

Can you say owned?

Why don't the griz ever want to talk about the 30 year span from 1956 - 1985?

BOBCAT wins 22

griz wins 8

BOBCAT National Championships 3 (including 1 co-championship)

griz National Championships 0

The point? EVERYTHING in the past is history, griz jerks. The last 20 years are no different than the 30 year span I noted above; THEY'RE BOTH IN THE PAST. Your last 20 years isn't better/worse than '56-'85 just because it's more recent.

Using your logic, dumbnoclass, the only thing that really matters is the last game and yes, your team possesses the Great Divide trophy (I think that's what they call it) as proof of your win in '04. Congratulations!

(We'll have it back in less than 4 months...)

Conceding already, Gato? C'mon; I don't think the Cats are going to be *that* bad in '05, are they? ;)

thanks, grizlaw (aka grizgrammar), for the correction.

And to answer your question about conceding, to quote Austin Powers from Goldmember:

HOW ABOUT NO!!!, you crazy Dutch bastard!!

Uh, reread the posts genius. I was the one who posted the entire series history. You were the one who suggested we focus on the more recent past, which I did by suggesting looking at the last twenty years. You then decided that you didn't like that. And so you arbitrarily selected a period of time in which the record favors you.

Using my logic, as demonstrated my original and second posts in this thread, the conclusion is that we have dominated you throughout the history of this series and during the last 20 years. I have made no other claim.

I truly cannot figure out what point you are trying to make. Your arguments make no sense whatsoever.
