Rough first 3 games for the cats huh?

Nah just messing around guys, at least your team can score multiple touchdowns, we seem to have forgotten how to do that.

ReMax, you were one of the reasonable posters on esugar.com. I have always respected you.

As a Griz fan and former football player, I've gotta tell ya that from what i've seen so far, there is no way that Montana beats the Cats this season, UNLESS Lulay gets injured. The Cats are good enough on defense to totally throttle the Griz offense....it could be ugly.

And, even though the Griz defense is the best in the conference, and the best in the history of Montana football, you just can't ask them every week to play 3 quarters of the game, and pitch a shut-out. They will wear down as the season progresses. Because they're on the field so much, they'll incur more injuries than usual too. Simple math....more plays equal more opportunities for injuries.

I just don't see us beating the Cats in Bozeman this year.

Wolfman,

I'll counter your argument with two thoughts.

1. Right now, if the Griz played the cats in Wa griz or Litter Box stadium, yes the Cats would win, that I have no doubt. The cats can score TDs while the Griz currently cannot.

2. But, I've just seen what a great defense does to the cats, it shuts them down and puts Lulay in a lot of tight situations. OSU was bigger and faster, they held the cats to 10 points, Cal Poly is incredibly talented, 10 points once again. IF, and I mean IF the Griz can get together on offense a solid D and a steady offense could mean a Griz victory come late Nov.

The one thing we cannot prepare for is injuries, and that could make all the difference, look at it this way, what would happen if the Griz lost Lex for the year and what would the Cats do without Lulay for the rest of the season? Both those scenarios make fans cringe at the thought of playing the season without their star. I never wish anyone to get hurt (no, not even a cat player) but injuries can completley affect a teams season.

Re/Max, I wouldn't argue with Wolfie. You know damn well that he's hoping the Griz lose just so he can come on here and gloat about his lame predictions.

Wolf, give me the year(s) that you played for the Griz. Or, did you just ride the pine on some high school team 30 some years ago?

Meat - No worries, I just try to present the "level ground" for those Griz fans who need a little enlightenment, IMHO. 8) 8)

No no, mr. self imposed heisman trophy winner was banned on eGriz for being the village idiot one too many times. If this site wants to keep it's integrity, he'll be gone soon. I talked with Chris (from eGriz) and Wolfie's sole purpose on these message boards is to see how far he can push it and piss people off. As you may know, I'll buck up to that challenge.

No, he won't. There is something seriously wrong between his ears.

I'm not trying to start a fight, but here's a serious question: is it *possible* for anyone from egriz to disagree with or question anything wolfie says on here without being accused of "continuing the egriz p-ing match"? Or by definition are we always continuing the old arguments every time we say anything to Wolf on this board?

there is a difference between disagreeing and insulting....

Bells, you were around esugar when I was posting there. You saw what went on. You saw a small group of sugar coaters who gave Chris $25 and thought that this gave them the rights to DEMAND who posts and who gets the boot. You've got Green/Grizzle, Lumberhead, RonBlow, and the other Hitler youth controlling Chris like a cardboard marrionette.

These pin heads can't take the fact that I was correct all along in my assessments of the Griz coaching staff, the ability of Jason Washington (inability is a more accurate word), the ridiculousness of Phenicie's offense and play-calling.

Because I have grown a pair over the years, unlike these phallically-challenged dolts, I am comfortable with stating my honest obswervations about Griz football, instead of the endless excuse-making going on over there. If anyone needs a good laugh for the day, just log onto that mess.

There are some posters now jumping on the bandwagon, just as I predicted they would. However, you ain't see nothin' yet! Wait until the Griz start losing conference games. Wait until Cal Poly lays a shot on us in Missoula. I'm gonna sit back and laugh my *ss off.

Hey, i'm a big Griz fan. But, I am also smart enough to have figured out 3 years ago that hiring "Big Timber West" wasn't gonna cut it.

So, let them take their shots at me.

Oh yeah, you're a huge Griz fan.

Anybody on here want to trade for this guy? We'll be willing to throw in some cash to sweeten the deal. How about some warm Oly?

I realize that, and I agree that personal insults are not usually the best way to have a debate.

The thing is, though, no matter what you do, debates in any forum are occasionally going to turn personal. It's just interesting that if other posters throw a barb or two at each other, nobody cares, but if anyone does the same to Wolfie, they are immediately pounced upon and accused of "continuing old egriz feuds." What makes it even more interesting is that the poster in question in this particular thread is Meat, who I think we can all agree is not one who generally goes around provoking people into pointless arguments just for sport.
