Good analysis -- And where are all the Cat fans saying the Griz played crappy against a "lowly" WSU??!! WHAT A JOKE YOU GUYS ARE!!!
I'm predicting the almighty Griz will drop at least 3 of their final 4 games in October, maybe even ALL 4.
They go to ISU next week (which I WILL predict a Griz loss), then they have 3 very difficult games, although fortunately for them, they're all at home, which I feel will give them a chance to win one. First they get Cal Poly, who I'd pick as at least a 7 point favorite if they played now, then they get Eastern, who I'd say would be a 10 point favorite over them today (yesterday, Pizzaro beat his previous best passing day BY 130 YARDS as Weber racked up almost 500 total vs "the Big Sky's best D"), and then PSU comes to town on the 29th, and at this point, I'd give the Griz the nod in that one by a couple points.
The bottom line here is that "the genius", Bobby Hauck, has recruited and created what is going to undoubtedly be the WORST Griz offense in more than 13 years. After Pizzaro & WSU's offensive success yesterday, can you IMAGINE what Meyer, Cole, and Kimble will do to them? 500 yards? Easy, if yesterday was any indication; maybe even 600+.
Cal Poly may not beat them as bad as they did us, because it's in WaGriz and Cal Poly's "mindset" might hurt them; but they will "out-athlete" the Griz and should beat them convincingly.
ISU? After the action I witnessed yesterday (both the Cat game & the Griz/WSU game), ISU WILL dominate the Griz and win by 10+; I will be STUNNED if ISU doesn't beat the Griz next week.
Go ahead, griz fans; tell me SPECIFICALLY why I'm wrong and why the Griz will be better than 4-4 by Halloween.

Of course there were several fans thinking WSU was bad, but most thought they were a decent team.
I still think they are a decent team, nothing more.
FACT : Cats played about the ugliest 3 quarters of football I have ever seen.
CLICHE BUT TRUE : We almost beat ourselves. There was really nothing that Weber did on defense that hindered us. We shot ourselves in not just the foot, but both feet. Ugliest win I have ever seen.
Weber deserves some credit, they have a talented offense. But we played horrible and if we had played better, this game would have been a convinging MSU win.

SO the griz finally beat someone in a convincing fashion and all of the sudden griz fans are talking again like they are the best team in IAA! A little confidence went straight to their bandwagon thick-headed brains.
By the way - in case you didn't noce - the Cats didn't lose today.
Cats are undefeated in conference. You are a dolt good sir.

Nick,
It's easy to sit back and just assume your team is going to win every week. I'm sure you've had the Griz picked for the last 10 National Championships.
I have no problem ANALYZING what I watch from week to week and trying to use what I see to PREDICT what I expect to happen in upcoming games. Unfortunately, that DOES leave me open to worthless little pissants like you, but you know what? I'm not going to stop. You just go right ahead and take your little meaningless cheapshots after the fact and continue to give us Bobcats reasons to despise you.
If someone had forced me to pick the winner in Pocatello today, I would've picked ISU BASED ON EVERYTHING I'D SEEN to date. Was I wrong? Yep. ONE PLAY wrong; the 3rd & 24 play that Lex took to the house was the play of the game & from what I saw, ISU essentially quit at that point.
To my Cat-mates, thanks for having my back but it's unnecessary against a worthless little punk like Nick.

Say what you will about shoulda woulda coulda, but if gatewood catches those 2 passes for touchdowns, we win going away, as in we have confidence, WSU gets downhearted, etc.

I still say Weber is terrible! The way we played today we probably would have lost by 30 to several BSC teams. The score was close but that does not make Weber good or us bad. Just another game in the BSC. If we play this way against the upper half of the BSC (PSU, EWU, UM) we won't fare so well.

Lets get one thing straight the scores dont matter. A W is a Win and thats all that matters. If the Griz go out and kill Cal Poly- in two weeks it doesnt mean that the Griz are superior to the kitties. It means they got a W that the cats did not.
Today the Griz played great (Except for 15 penalties), but if they come out next week and get drilled by EWU, It only counts as ONE W and ONE L.
I guess what Im saying is you guys should be happy when the kitties get a W. But need to calm down when they get a L or play poorly. When you all lost to Cal Poly, some of your postings sounded well, SUICIDAL!!!!
Just trying to keep the Morgue in Bozo empty

We're becoming so much like the Griz, it's SCARY!!!
Today, we played one of the ugliest games I've ever seen a Bobcat team play....
AND WE WON ON THE ROAD.
God help the Big Sky if we start to get our act together anytime soon!

All I was sayin was eat some f*king crow for all the $hit the cats talked all week. How NO ONE HERE GAVE WEBER ANY RESPECT....AND FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW NEEDED A FINAL FG TO BEAT THEM.......And how you all "guarenteed" ISU blows out the Griz...
Another season of Bobcat fans predicting the worst for the Griz, after one bad game -- A WIN nonetheless.
Even a worthless punk can figure that out. Congrats on the Cat wins.
UM @ ISU was a big win. But I won't start making GUARENTEES. That's more of a Cat fan thing.
By the way EG -- I made peace with you on EGriz. I guess when your Cat-mates "have your back" you decide to be an asshole?!

Wow the attitude strikes Bozone again -- is this the same little fit you threw after the Griz won the Big Sky tourney last year?
I am not a hippy. I am not from Missoula. I did not attend a Montana school because I want to experience life outside of the state. With all due respect, Montana State is a third tier public university. Oregon is a top tier public university. Oregon is a top 5 school for journalism which is what I'm studying.
But I guess the dumbass thing is for you to judge. Either way, I don't care.
Just let me know when the fit is over.

Hey Nick,
You "made peace" with me???
Look at the title & first post of this thread.
And as for no one giving Weber any respect? Obviously you failed to read my prediction for this game. It was MSU 24, WSU 23.

Spoken again like a snot-nosed little know-it-all teenager with no worldly experience. Typical of what I would expect from you. How sad is it that you are posting on every board imaginable at midnight on Saturday when you are a freshman in college?! Try getting out and making some friends. I know that surfing the net into the night was about the last thing that crossed my mind when I was a freshman.
BTW, if you think the undergraduate education you will receive at UO is any better than what you would receive at either UM or MSU, then you are more naive than I would have previously thought, which is no small feat.

It sure is for what I'm studyin jackass. Maybe I decided not to be like you and get completely ****** every Saturday night and watch a movie with some friends. Maybe I had the balls to actually get out of Montana and open my eyes to entirely new surroundings. Maybe, because I'm on scholarship, I decided to be smart becuase if I get caught once, even at a party with alochol and I haven't been drinking my ass is paying full price. -- the sad thing is you aren't much older than me and you start preaching to me about having no worldly experience -- with the emotions and attidude of a 6 year old girl nonethless. You don't know anything about me so stop trying to make dickheaded personal comments when you have nothing to back up your football smack, which is the real reason for this board. One thing is for sure, my maturity is obviously lightyears ahead of yours. I know you will treat this as a good thing and probably rejoice or make another lowlevel comment, but I will no longer post anything on this messageboard as I am sure you all know it is a complete waste of my time.

I know that is what you think, and what the recruiters at UO told you, but an undergraduate education is what you make out of it, regardless of where you are. I know people with degrees from more highly regarded schools than MSU and UM, and they are complete dolts. And vice versa. You get out of life what you put into it, I'm sure you'll figure that out some day.
Nick wrote:Maybe I decided not to be like you and get completely ****** every Saturday night and watch a movie with some friends.
Don't remember saying anything about getting f*cked up. I don't remember staying in my dorm room typing on Internet message boards though. To me, that is just sad.
Nick wrote:Maybe I had the balls to actually get out of Montana and open my eyes to entirely new surroundings.
Hard to open your eyes to new surroundings by staying in your dorm room. BTW, I
came to Montana, I didn't grow up here.
Nick wrote:Maybe, because I'm on scholarship, I decided to be smart becuase if I get caught once, even at a party with alochol and I haven't been drinking my ass is paying full price.
If that is actually true, that is unfortunate. No college scholarship should preclude young people from an integral part of the college education - that is, the importance of meeting new people, trying new things, and opening the mind to new ideas. Going out to - gasp - parties is a wonderful way to do that. If your scholarship forbids you of even going to parties (not sure how they would find out), then you are being robbed of a very important part of your education.
Nick wrote:I will no longer post anything on this messageboard as I am sure you all know it is a complete waste of my time.

Some of the best people I know are the ones that have never moved in their life. Some of us love Montana so much we don't want to leave, sorry you can't grasp that.
U of O is a very good school, but if you are implying that UO is lightyears ahead of MSU and UM, then you were brainwashed by recruiters. Better education in certain fields? Sure. But like Bozone said, education is what you make of it.
I prefer smaller schools with more teacher/student relations. You don't get that at the 30k student schools. Plus there are a lot more distractions at big schools in big cities.
I plan on maybe living somewhere for a few years after college outside of Montana, but there isn't any place I'd rather raise a family than right here.
The best part of of college is the experience. Meeting new people, having adventures that you can only get away with by being a college student.
