I should have started this on the regular board, but kittie fans would only resort to throwing Smack. So I will just start it here.

4 Reasons Lulay is OVERRATED

#1 Career Overall Record
29 Wins 21 L's 58%

#2 Playoff games
2 Appearences 2 L's

#3 cats record
The year BEFORE Lulay the kitties were 5-6
With Lulay never had more then 7 wins

#4 Games against quality teams
His Senior year WvsUM But L's vs. Eastern, CalPoly and OSU. The rest of the teams on your schedule were not quality and yet Lulay lost to PSU!!!! The real reason the kitties did not make the playoffs!!!


These are facts kitties. Nothing I made up, nothing contrived, nothing overstated. If Lulay was your best QB ever. Your past QB's must have really SUCKED!!!! IE if Lulay had those stats as a Griz he would never have played after year 2!!!!

PS Its great you won 3 out of 4 against the Griz. How did you do against the Sac States of the world?

Your thought process is questionable. While some of the above are facts, they are not proof of an "overrated player". Lulay is neither a coach nor a pitcher, boxer, wrestler etc. The Bobcats' record is not attributed to him alone. The Montana State football team is not called the Lulays. If he played every position on the field, then he could credited with every win or loss.

Is Kevin Garnett overrated? Is Koby Bryant overrated? No. Neither team plays well, but both players remain all-star calibre. Are both the leaders of their teams? Yes. Are the records of their teams pinned on Garnett and Bryant only? No.

How are the all-star teams selected in every major team sport in the United States? Is it by win/loss records? Or is it by statistics? How are Hall-of-Fame players selected? Team record? Here's the ringer......HOW ARE PLAYERS SELECTED FOR THE NFL COMBINE?

It is fine that you think that Lulay is overrated, but trying to prove it with those facts is comical. You make an awful argument.

You see, my post was something of importance. I simply wanted to point out to all what you were doing in your spare time over the last 2 months when you were not researching Travis Lulay stats. By the way great job compiling that information in such short amount of time. Even though I'm "new" (boy you sure embarrassed me there), I gauged by the apparent lack of intellect in your posts that this type of research should have taken much, much longer.
