Aretha Franklin and that other guy made the Anthem sound like a totally different song and extended it like 2 extra minutes.

I beg the NFL to and everyone else to find someone who can sing the National Anthem how it is suppose to be sung. No added syllables and don't add 7 octaves for one word.

I've never understood the appeal of Aaron Neville. He has a great face for radio, and a singing style that's great for Helen Keller.

We finally agree on something. That was almost embarassing to watch.

By the way, I am not positive but I am pretty sure the refs today are from the BSC. That officiating in the first half was in line with the anthem.

How awful were the Rolling Stones at halftime? Why don't they move into a retirement home like they should have done 20 years ago?

I agree 100%. They were probably trying to appease the african american community, who probably would have called the use of white singers as racist. Don't act like i'm being far out either, you know how the NFL works in that regard. "OMG U DIDNT HIRE THE BLACK COACH WHO WASN'T QUALIFIED FOR THE JOB?!?! RACIST!!!"

Actually I was impressed withe the Stones. Well, not impressed but surprised. I thought they would take the stage with their walkers wearing Viagra t-shirts.
