As funny as this may be, I do push some of this back on NASA for even considering UM for space research

Not too bright there.. It does put a nice black eye on their institution for future grants though. We all know that is not the case at MSU as each year the $$$$ keep coming in.

The one downside for MSU is that many people nationally don't know the difference between the two schools, so a research dollar scandal at UM could unfairly bleed a bit into MSU's fine name and reputation.

Yep, that could very well be true unfortunately.

I would assume that those that give out grant money do a thorough background check on the schools they are considering. I am sure MSU's grant money is safe despite UM's mistakes.

Besides, it's not too awfully difficult to differentiate between the two schools. All one needs to do is look to Bozeman and see that our women shave their legs and armpits, there are no long-haired mongrels humping trees, and they only thing we smoke is a fine cigar after out football team gives the Jizzlies a decent butt-whoopin'.

You forgot you haven't had a home playoff game in over 22 years!
What did you folks do with your last home playoff game? Oh that's right, a Cal Poly shellackin' and couldn't even come close to a sell-out. Thanks for representin' the Sky so well.

I did not mention how we did during our last playoff outing. Yes, we stunk it up. But I was not the one bragging about it either. My point: engage barin before openingh mouth

I didn't know that your stadium can hold over 30K.

Seriously cat fans, the smack about the Griz losing their playoff game is pretty weak. First, you gotta get there to lose. Second, it hasn't happened very often to the Griz. And third, they lost to a team that WHOLLOPED the cats. If that's all you got.....

That, and scoreboard.
I'm just confused how any Griz fan can talk smack to a Bobcat with a straight face right now. Bragging about "getting to the playoffs" is the ultimate in weak smack, especially considering the results.
So ... are Griz fans bragging that they lost at home to Cal Poly by less than MSU lost to them on the road? That's just not strong material.
It was settled on the field. The Bobcats won. To the victors go the spoils ... which in this case is the irrefutable smack trump card.
