Let's Get Ready to RUMBLE

Post by rtb » Fri Nov 17, 2006 2:26 pm

Not sure who wrote this but it was passed to me via email.
Ladies and Gentlemen,

Welcome to Cat/Griz 2006! Once again, the Big Sky Conference crown
travels directly through the Big Sky State. The winner of tomorrow's
106th meeting will earn the conference's automatic bid into the NCAA
Playoff Championship Series (formerly NCAA Div. 1-AA National Playoffs).

Let's introduce you to the teams:

Fighting out of the red corner, wearing uniforms that could best be
described as "dark pink, with kind of a gray color". They are looking to
make their 18th consecutive trip to the national playoffs. They are led
by Head Coach Bobby Hauck (who has an uncanny resemblance to Beavis). Here are the two-time National Champions....representing fine arts majors and tree-hugging hippies statewide..... the University of Montana Grizzlies (......crickets chirping)

Fighting out of the blue corner, wearing the same striking colors as the
Great State of Montana's state flag, Blue and Gold. They are looking to
return to the National Playoffs after taking a one-year hiatus. They are
led by Head Coach Mike Kramer (who looks like he could kick your ass in
a dark alley....then take your girlfriend). Here are the THREE-time
National Champions....representing all of the farmers, ranchers, nurses,
engineers (and all other contributing members of society) from the Great
State of Montana.... the reigning and defending Cat/Griz Champions.....THE Montana State University Fighting Bobcats!!! (...crowd goes ballistic, grown men hug their fathers, children hug their mothers, a beam of light extends down from Heaven and illuminates the Bobcat's sideline)

GO CATS!!!!!!
Game time is 12:37 MTN

If anyone can hear crickets chirping in Wa Griz when the Griz take the field tomorrow, I promise to never post again, and may in fact eat my own hands.

It's called self-depricating humor. You know, when you make fun of yourself.

Are you always in a s***y mood?

What's the difference between you and a mallard with a cold? One's a sick duck. I can't remember how it ends but your mother's a whore.

You think?? There isn't anything else in there self-deprecating, is there? Grizzly-deprecating, yes.

As far as my mood, I'm ALWAYS in a good mood. Saturday afternoon and evening I'll be in a GREAT mood! :D

I always get annoyed when someone asks, "You think?" Of course that's what Egg Salad thought. Why else would he have said it?

No, there will be no crickets chirping. The Griz crowd will be very loud... first by cheering on their team, then even louder when booing them... :(

That's really funny. Bobby Hauck does look a bit like Beavis.

Just need to splice in the music that the media guy used to have after the sound, and get the noise of a REAL crowd , instead of the pussy crowd on this one. cat and Griz fans will be making some real noise tomorrow.

Man, no offense, honestly, but this game in Wash-Griz is how it is ment to be viewed and where it is ment to be played. It just can't be beat, unless we had some kind of virtual dirt for the uni's.

Kramer's the gym coach who calls those two "Beaver and Butthole."

For all the things the Griz have done to elevate the fan experience, it sucks they have to settle, and in turn make everyone else settle, for KPAX. No smack intended, although you can't deny the truth to it.

Who could deny that, cledus. Although this week with the ESPN crew everything should be good.
