And people wonder why the griz seem arrogant?

Two posts from the dark board:
First BAC's
Just to point something out that might get lost in the confusion of school colors and wounded pride, having an opposing coach favorably compare on their players to a former player in your program is a quite sincere compliment to the former player.
Mike Kramer does this a lot. For those of you who don't actually read the Bobcat articles, he almost goes out of his way to praise the UM program every week, and this comparison is consistent with that. He thinks highly of the Griz program, and uses it as a measuring stick against which to measure the Bobcat program.
The fact that he is using a former UM player to measure his QB against is a very nice thing to say about both Lulay and Dickenson. I have a feeling that Dave wouldn't be too upset about the comparison.
Now a griz backer's
kramer is always right on the money with his comparisons. The man is always right and not once been wrong. He never opens his mouth without thinking. Dave Dickenson never lost a middle or high school game. His college career won't be duplicated as far as putting a school on the map,or winning like he has. travis is good but no dd.
p.s. rumor kramer has told florida officials that he's not interested in the florida job because msu is his dream job and doesn't feel florida will allow him to build a program and turn it into a big time program while working his 7and 6 magic on a consistent basis!
Does anyone see the differences?????

Yep, that about sums it up. I need to quit posting today as the Griz fans that I 'met' this weekend and some of the posts over on Egriz just get my blood boiling. So I need to calm down. So whenever you see a Griz fan complaining that there were fights in another teams stadium (oh, and after a Griz loss), well ..... I think you should know the answer why. This weekend, just totally proved that aspect for me.
GEESH .. I'm starting to sound like Bronco. But as you can see from the post above, I think you get the picture.

OK Cardiac and gang, I understand your dislike of BH and the Griz, I really do. 16 years of being the ugly kid sister makes you hostile. Ok, I get it.
As for the posts on E-Griz about fights, take a second look at those will you? Correct me if I'm wrong, and I'm not, it was in reference to folks being served alcohol at the stadium and the a$$holes they became. It would be no different if the cats were playing there!!!
Also, please remember that the public persona conveyed by the cat staff and Coach K is different that the "real world" one you don't see on the news...Lest we forget the really cool FTG license plates I saw cat players and coaches driving around with over the past couple of years.
Why do you care what BH says (or doesn't say) about the cats? For years we simply enjoyed being in first place. It's a fun place to be, enjoy it for all its worth because it doesn't last forever. Hell, it might only last another couple of weeks!!!
It's a rivalry, go with it!!!

Are you sure it was CAT players and coaches with those plates? I had those plates when I left Montana 6 years ago and I got new Nevada plates that say FTG on them as well. My family says they see an occasional FTG plate, and they think it is an alumni, I could be wrong though.
I never cheer for the griz, never have, and I never will. Some people do, but not me. Do you think that somebody at Michigan cheers for an Ohio State team? I think not. Maybe some, but I really doubt it.

You know I wish that I was one that could say that I never cheer for the cats, but I can't. I think that you have them(radicals) on both sides that would just as soon see the rival loose every game every year. But think about it, I was cheering for the cats Sat against EWU. Had they won it sure would have made the game this Sat way better to watch being as though their would have been more playoff implications. I would have rather won the BSC outright rather than share it with EW. So in short at the end of the season when ever that might be we are all MONTANA boys.

I used to believe that until these CS's here ran to Mama. Now I have total contempt for the kitties and all of their teams, but more spefically their supporters on this board.
We all are not necessarily MONTANA Boys, not by any stretch of the imagination.
