Well, the issue is NOT whether there is a difference of opinion as to whether a Montana State fan should or should not hate anything that relates to the Griz, or whether a Griz fan should hate anything that relates to the 'Cats. Of course there is a difference of opinion. A tiny minority in each team's fan base harbor such itiotic and juvenile opinions. They don't have any true appreciation for competition, or the value of sports, or for the values of Montana for that matter. Your post demonstrates that. The question is whether hating "anything that even relates" to the other team is entitled to "respect." And the answer is that it is obviously "no". Sure you can have such opinions, sure they are protected speech, but likewise they are undeniably stupid and juvenile, and are not entitled to any respect. Any decent Montanan with a functioning brain would agree such opinions based on hatred are reprehensible.lifeloyalsigmsu wrote:As is a difference of opinion......however, in this specific case, only an idiot thinks that things should only be one way or no way at all!!GFGriz wrote:Hey, granted that stupidity is protected by the constitution, but that doesn't mean it should be respected. In return, should it be your desire, you don't have to like them back. Can you respect that?
I haven't and will never root for anything that even relates to the griz. I don't find that stupid; I only classify it as a difference of opinion.
