Suckit-I'm sure we have crossed paths before, i'm almost positive. I guess I am probably being a little too harsh on Danny, he most likely is a very good recruiter and coach. My only feelings are that we could find some head coach in the D2 level like Eastern did. I know that the NCC has some really good coaches that I'm sure would love to move up. I think the best situation for us would be to bring in a head coach with a proven record, we don't need an assistant with no head coaching experience, I think that would be a far step down from Durham.

You know folks if I had to pick a young coach with both MSU and the state of Montana connections and a proven track record as a head coach the guy I might have looked at was former Bobcat Assistant Brad Huse. That was until took a job as an assitant with UM.

Sorry - inside joke I guess. There was a poster on some other boards last year, I think the name was AZGRIZ or something like that. Anyway, his goal was to rile up the board and brag about how smart, good-looking, and rich (after selling his medical supply company) he was. He got banned for making threats and personal phone calls. Just making sure you weren't him... which you aren't!AZCAT21 wrote:Not in the med supply industry, why?

Great time to be a BOBCAT!

A Grizzly coaching at MSU? There has to be some loyalty! I know he was an MSU assistant....BUT!mslacat wrote:You know folks if I had to pick a young coach with both MSU and the state of Montana connections and a proven track record as a head coach the guy I might have looked at was former Bobcat Assistant Brad Huse. I meant to say, that he was, on al list but I kind of think he has burnt a few bridges. As a matter of fact a lot of folk at MSU thought Huse might have been a better choice as head coach than Kysco.. Him coming on board as an assistant was the worce of both worldsMSU88 wrote:A Grizzly coaching at MSU? There has to be some loyalty! I went to High School with Danny and his ethic towards basketball is great....He will make a great Division 1 head coach.....I don't think you can really question age.....this is an era where young coaches will make their mark....people like Cameron Dollar, Scott Drew and in the future Danny Sprinkle.
