"The Cats won't be at full strength tonight, for freshman guard Casey Durham suffered a concussion after taking an elbow to the head Saturday night in Missoula. He might possibly play Saturday when the Bobcats meet NAU."

Classic, he gets shoved to the floor and then elbowed to the head and taunted by Martin and the ref comes over to him and lectures HIM! Pathetic reffing. I hope Durham blankets him the next game in Bozeman. This could make into a very good rivalry in the coming years.

It could hurt to lose Casey's intense defense and shooting threat and depth at guard. Miller and Jefferson will play a lot of minutes.

Hopefully Ryan Holmes will step up and show us what he's capable of. I think that he will be a very good player...he's just not getting the minutes. It looks like he may get a few more minutes this weekend.

I for one am extremely impressed with how Casey has played so far. 2 years ago I would have called him a role player in the Frontier Conference at best, coming off the bench his entire career.

He has definitely proved me wrong. His defensive intensity as well as his sheer desire to hustle out on the court....cant go wrong with those kids on any team. What Casey lacks in athletic ability and size he definitely makes up in brains and heart. Think he learned a thing or two from watching Jason Erickson last year? Keep up the great season Casey! :D

Casey brings some attitude and spark off the bench to the Cats. His defense and energy are very good and he will be missed this weekend.

I had the perfect angle to see the interaction between Casey and Miller, and could not believe the call. That said I will say that from most angles it is very difficult to see what Martin was doing with his elbow, and I will not say by any means it was dirty or any thing like that, but Martin should watch it because there are some players that won't take it lightly, and he may end up on the floor himself. For those who did not see it Durham was really playing Martin close and in some occations would hand check (granted a foul) or pretty close to a hand check. What Martin would do would make a motion as to swipe Casey arm away with his forearm, but he would also in the same motion he would thow the point of his elbow of his inside arm smack dab into the middle of Casey chest. It hurt just watching it. He hit Casey twice like this in the span of 5-10 knocking him down. Casey jump up once and looked ready to go , but better heads prevailed (and Moss moved Casey) The only thing I did not like was afterwards Casey offered that " shake/slap hands lets be friends" basketball players move twice and Martin would have none of it. Eh a freshman.
