First off, the officiating was terrible. In the first half we had 10 or more fouls on us with Sac having 6 called on them. Then in the second half they had 10 and we had five. Looked like the officials were trying to even things out. One terrible no call occurred in the second half near the end of the game Holmes was knocked to the floor on a steal by Sac. and no call. That was the one Kris A. went off on how bad a no call it was.
Holmes played a great game. He played tough defense against one of the best post up players, Harris, in the league. He had very few turnovers and scored some points at critical times. To me he was the most valuable player of the game. If he continues to improve he is going to be a great player. He is solid and steady.
