All of you out there concerned about the recent road trip by the Cats.....relax! This is no doubt the toughest trip of the year and even tho we shot very poorly we were in both games in the last nine minutes.

Don't forget the positives of the first 5 conference games. We will be just fine.......this group will not dissapoint.

We need the student body to get "down right hostile" both Thursday and Saturday.........get into it and support the Cats in the next two home games. Make ISU and Weber feel like the Cats felt at EWU and especially PSU. They need your support and noise to help fire them up. Come on out and get after things this week. It is your responsibility and the players and coaches will really appreciate it!

GO CATS!!!

I agree with everything in your post except where you state that we were in the ballgames in the 2nd half. Had we made big runs, we might not have been out of striking distance, but both games were completely dominated and controlled by the Eagles and the Vikes.

I am not so concerned that we lost both games, but I am concerned with how we lost them. The Bobcats need to pull off a weekend sweep to regain momentum and re-establish themselves as the team to beat in the Sky. Wish I could be there...

One person I talked to said that one problem MSU has is that teams adjust to their style midway through the conf. sked and MSU doesn't change it up or counter-punch their opponents. Seemed to make sense.

So I'd think this is the biggest weekend for MSU, even though the opponents are considered by most to be on the bottom of the league and the games are at home. If MSU drops one of these they'll do well to finish 3 or 4 with a home game in the playoffs. If they lose both, they'll probably be battling for that last spot again.

Being down by 7 points with 8:30 left against PSU certainly is being dominated. :x

Who cares about the points? Did you listen to the game at all? We were never really in it.

Hell, let's ask K-Max what he thought since he was there. Did you ever really feel like we had a chance to win this game after the first 10 minutes?

I am assuming you meant me not KMax so I will answer. I felt like we had a chance for about 3 minutes after halftime as the Cats started playing like they had at the beginning of the game, but no when we were down by 7 or 8 it was pretty much over. Some of the players were always out of postion on D, no rebounding and no fire. There was never a time in the second half where I felt like the Cardiac Cats could win the game.

Are you kidding me? We are down seven and Jefferson goes down. Miller comes in and misses two three's which could have cut the lead to two points! He misses and we are done......but we were in the game at the 8:30 mark. I do agree we have to have some guts and the JC and out of state players need some "Bobcat Pride" when the going gets tough. I am not sure we are seeing that!

So just the out-of-state guys need to gut it up? The Montana guys are all giving 110% at all times and have no need for improvement? If only everyone was as perfect as us Montana raised folks.... Oh Lord, it's hard, to be humble....

It wasn't the JC kids or out of state guys who were dragging. Moss and Jefferson played hard every time they were in the game along with Durham. Yeah he was riled up by the crowd, but he still was playing hard every minute he was on the court. The worst lack of fire I saw was Dissly, I don't know if he was sick or what, but he would barely jog half the time he was on the court.

Give me a break, Dissly is one of the first ones that needs to step up and grow a set. He is one of the more athletic players in the conference and what does he do to use that talent to his advantage? Shoot 3's and dunk on fast breaks.

Get aggressive Nick. Take the ball to the hole, use your strength to overpower the smaller player guarding you.

With all that strength and leaping ability, the kid still doesnt go after a rebound.

He's still a sophomore, and obviously has a lot of improving to do, but lets see a little gumption and Bobcat Pride from the Montana kid that resembles a little more what some of the JC kids are showing.
