I wanted to let this go because I couldn't get much objective discussion, maybe it was my fault for being a tad negative, but then cattracker jumps in talking smack and saying i'm not a fan because I have a different point of view than his.Pee'd. I give about as much credibility to your posts as I do to your name. From the tone of your posts, I doubt that you "played with these guys all summer" or that you are even a true Bobcat fan. I am sorry you think coming onto this forum and blasting individual players is something you need to do. When your last post said you were "out" I was sincerely hoping that meant we had heard the last from you.
Apparently I can't have a creative name like peedintunnel(which refers to when a griz photographer caught an Eastern Washington player talking a whiz in their tunnel) You probably would have known what my name meant if you followed this board more closely or the old espn board. But you are a true fan and I guess I'm not so whatever. Maybe I can't be a true fan because of my handle or because i don't sugar coat everything and make rosy comments. Go to e-griz if you want that kind of a fan.
My original post was just to drum up some discussion about Durr. You can't do that by saying he is a perfect role player because you think that is exactly what Durham wants, or he shouldn't be a scorer because he is not needed. I know a lot of people like Durr because he is a montana boy from a small town, but i just wanted a little discussion on whether anyone thought he may not be d-1 material. I did not "blast" him, he is a good guy and fairly solid fundamentally but I just don't see him ever being able to make a big difference for this team. I would like to see him be like an Aaron Rich. Wow how would I know Rich because I'm not a fan. Maybe I should go to the games and cheer and stuff like you.
I have played with the guys in the summer. It's not like they are nba stars. If your good you can play with these guys, not dominate, but you can hang. Come up to 3:00 ball in n. gym and play some ball with me. It's the same place the cats play after the season and at 5:00 in the Fieldhouse in the summer. You can learn a lot about how these guys play when you play with them. But I guess you think it is an exclusive club and they only like to play with each other.
I just would like to be able to have an opinion with out being blasted and told I'm not a fan.
