  Thursdays game is History. Time to run. Sat game will be important if cats run. If not its 10-4 vs 10-4 in a tie breaker which is already broke.

Did Dissly show up, or did he fold his tent again? He had 1.5 tremendous games in Bozeman the past two weeks, ...I didn't listen to the game, but I don't see where he did anything.

I went to the Carroll game. What a game! Both teams just ran the court for 40 minutes. Western was led by.......whadayaknow! Bo Segeburg! and had the lead for most of the game shooting threes like they were layups, but Carroll, even though out sized, and not shooting 3's very well, played inspired defense in the second half, went inside relentlessly against Segeburg, caught them and pulled ahead in the last three minutes to win something like 103 to 96! Segeburg picked up 5 fouls in the second half and scored 30 points! Goes to show you that if you are patient and stick to your game inside you don't have to shoot a lot of threes to win!

I am not sure, but from what I heard he was shakey. Sounds like the whole team was out of it. I know people wonder about how high I am on Durr but last night he plays well...again.......2 blocks, one charge, 5 points in limited time. He needs to be the first #4 off the bench.....he is solid and a hard worker.........I like the Durham, Dissly, Moss, Durr, and Jefferson lineup..........I have never seem it go wrong. And the way they play on the road, why not?

It seems in Division I basketball that a win on the road is virtually impossible. I've heard road wins referred to as "stealing the game from the other team." I've been mulling this over...is it because of the fans in the visiting gym or the Dramamine that the players have to take for the plane trip or being cramped up in the bus or sleeping in a strange bed or the officiating OR is this just a scapegoat. I can understand losing a close game on the road, for all of the reasons mentioned, but all 3 of our road losses have been huge.

It seems like losing on the road is too accepted by the players and coaches. Where does this attitude come from and how can the CATS change it before tomorrow night? We need a Sac State ROAD WIN.

Keeping track of the CATS!

Plain and simple --- it's a scapegoat.

Teams should go into every single game EXPECTING to win, not hoping to steal a game. This is the attitude that plagues Bobcat basketball when we go on the road, and not a damn thing will change in our outcomes until we change the entire mindset that sets us up to lose.

GO CATS GO!!!

  Montana State won at Weber, Idaho State and Montana. Portland State won at NAU and SAC State. Weber won at Eastern Washington. SAC State won at Weber. Montana won at Eastern and Idaho State.  That said NAU played the best game I have seen on the road this year and the worst they lost all of their conference road games. Portland State lost at Idaho State but won at SAC. Eastern lost at Portland State 71-70.

 Kansas lost at home today after winning 32 straight either conference or home games. Iowa state won by 2 in overtime. It wasn"t that close but Iowas State missed the front of three one and ones at the end of regulation.
