Under Construction....Sports News & Info.

Could someone "in the know" tell me when the link: Sports News & Info. is going to be up and running. I was checking out the Bobcat Nation Homepage today and was curious when this link will be up. I hope this site will provide football roster updates and news FASTER than MSU's Bobcat Atthletics site does!!!!

I have the first edition of Men's and Women's Basketball pages ready to go online sometime next week at least that is what we are shooting for. Then, football will follow and be ready by mid-summer. We will keep the roster and two-deep up-to-date as much as possible, but will need help and input from our members as changes take place. Thank you for supporting the site and please keep the pressure on us to keep developing the site.

Ok, this isn't official so I haven't changed the link from the main page, but for now the sports information pages can be found at
http://www.bobcatnation.com/infomain.htm

Please remember these pages are still under construction, but at least you can get the stats, etc. from our site. Men's and Women's Basketball are the only pages available yet, but we will be adding others soon.

If you have any suggestions, problems, or spot errors please let us know on the site feedback forum.

One quick note, the news area on each page is not functioning yet, we will get to that later.

Good job, kudos!

By the way, I have a very undemanding lifestyle right now, and probably for the next few years, so if you need someone to update the stats and stuff, I could probably do it almost right away after any sporting event.

Not to speak for rtb, but for myself as someone who seems to have the opposite lifestyle right now, as soon as we can get this stuff in a state where it is user-friendly to update, we may just take you up on that! Thanks.

Great job. Although my little man seems to love Travis now that he tried to "give him five" I'm wondering whether there's a chance we can somehow get CelticCats picture of Justin made into a poster, have him sign the sucker and start distributing the thing? See, I know in my heart that young man is busy doing all kinds of fingertip pushups, weight work and is going to be the dominant back and ball control man we need this year. Besides, my license plates are MSUJD8

And some of ya'll now how much I prefer a good running game and the teams ability to dominate to a passing game

I don't think it is legal to sell pictures of current players. I am guessing Jay can sell you a copy of that picture, but probably not until after football this year. Again, I don't know any of this for sure, it is just what I have come to believe. I will email Jay and find out what the scoop is.

Thanks. I know my kids in Georgia all had posters and pictures of current players throughout the South.

I have spoken with Jay in the past about the possibility of selling some of his shots. He had to get permission from MSU in order to do that. From our last conversation on the topic he had recieved permission to sell his shots. Contact him via the email address listed on his galleries and I am sure he would love to sell you a copy of any of his pictures.

Cat Grad, Jay can sell his pictures so if you want to email him about a poster go ahead and do that. His contact email is linked in his portion of the picture gallery. If you want you can also email me if you have questions.

Again, Jay contributes pictures here to us for two reasons, one he loves Bobcat Sports and wants to see this site succeed and two he is a young professional photographer trying to make a living doing what he loves. So if anyone wants any of the pictures please contact him and buy them from him. They may not be as cheap as a $10 poster, but you are getting something that is very unique and also supporting an MSU alum.

The men's basketball page is updated with the end of the year stats as well as a link to a BSC Bracket that I will keep updated.
