Bio: Finished his senior season with 37/6/3 after a junior campaign of 62/10/5.5 when he was awarded All-Conference honors. Led the conference with 11.5 sacks and 18 tackles for loss as a sophomore.

Pos: Hard working defender with a good head for the ball. Quick off the snap, displays range and a burst of closing speed. Immediately diagnoses the action, gets leverage on opponents fights to get off blocks.

Neg: Not tall for a down lineman, has difficulty defending the run and moved off the ball by opposing blockers. Rarely asked to drop into coverage or make plays in space.

Analysis: Possessing adequate size/speed numbers to be considered a prospect, Cordeiro now projects to either weakside linebacker or in the middle. Tenacity and intelligence will help him find a way onto a practice squad.
