That picture came to my mind as well. What a sweet play that was! He did everything on that play. I also just love how all the scouts always have to put the negative spin on catching the ballCat Pride wrote:Please show this guy Coops INT sophomore year against PSU. Over the shoulder catch, then turns on a dime and on his return, hurdles the TE he was covering.

I think that if Cooper gets his shot, he can show that he is one of the sleepers. He is a great athlete for a man his size. We all knew that his 40 would be slow, but put him in a game situation and he shows his wheels. I think that a team will be suprised if they "take a chance" on Cooper.

"He does need work catching the ball." How did he come to that conclusion?
If the guy made a point of saying this, it could just be that while Coop was doing the LB drills he had a bad day grabbing the ball. However something like that will not have a major adverse effect on him being picked. They are more worried about how athletic a LB is, and we all know Coop is a helluva athlete.

Let me explain something to you. Um, I am not "Mr. Lebowski". You're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing.

Interesting that 1-AA.ORG has both Cooper and Molock projected as free agents.

Surprised to see Ochs was originally figured to go in the 6th round. I thought his only chance was FA.Cat Grad wrote:http://i-aa.org/articles/artfiles/65988 ... nkings.pdf

No kidding! Every time I got a glimpse of a cat game this year Cooper was chasing down players half his size! As fast as he is in a game situation, it's hard to believe is 40 time is that slow! I guess it just goes to show that he uses the talents he has to the best of his abilities!94VegasCat wrote:I think that if Cooper gets his shot, he can show that he is one of the sleepers. Keep in mind that a lot of RB"s in the combine were not much ahead of Cooper and he posted faster times than almost ALL of the TE's. Cooper has instincts and football speed. They need to time these guys with pads on. THen I bet Cooper shoots up more towards the top. I have been watching some of the games on film from this past year and I counted AT LEAST 7-8 TD saving Tackles (if not TD, HUGE GAINS) that Cooper ran the guy down and tackled him by coming across the field and running him down. This will be interesting if we have any guys that can do that this year. Also, if they had a test for hand strength at the combine Cooper would DEFINATELY be near the top. While it is not the best technique, once Cooper got his hands on them that guy was dragged down. Cooper could flag out grab guys and throw them down once he got a hold of the jersey.VictorG wrote:No kidding!
