If you look at um's schedule, you will see that they have no home games scheduled for the month of November. How did that happen? Is that a scheduling SNAFU or what? I beleive that there were some publications that think that the griz have the softest schedule in the BSC. Probably so, but they do finish on the road this year. This is the first time I can remember seeing any team finish with three straight on the road.
I had a few players work for me this summer and I told them that there would be no home games in December this year either. I hope that all holds true.
This just breaks my heart. Those poooooooor poooooooor grizzlies.

It does suck, but it's just the way the schedule cycle worked out. Last year we finished with three straight home games, and this year we finish with the same three on the road. The funniest part is, if you talk to the morons over on the Portland State website, they'll still insist that the BSC consistently stacks the scheduling deck in favor of the Griz.94VegasCat wrote:If you look at um's schedule, you will see that they have no home games scheduled for the month of November. The Cats every other year finish 3 out of the 4 last games on the road. This year we get 3 out of the last 4 games at home. The schedules got changed in 1999 because Sac State and I think PSU didn't like going to Montana 2 times in one year (for football). Ever since MSU and UM have had a messed up November Schedule to accommodate those BSC members…

Interesting issue. The Griz had the misfortune of that schedule in 2002 and the result was a loss in both games...WYCAT wrote:One of my biggest complaints against our FB schedule is playing EWU and UM back to back every year. I would much rather play EWU about week 5 (like the Griz do every year) than the week before Cat/Griz. This year it is an especially daunting task.
I agree, however, the BSC folks would probably tell you that every conference game is huge and that you never know who will be tough and who won't and blah, blah, blah...
