OK, this is BEYOND ridiculous...
A friend of mine was entering the gates with her ticket, when she was stopped and searched, probably like all of us, but she had two opened bags of CANDY. Peppermints and some other kind of mint. They CONFISCATED them!!! What is this all about? Were they afraid she was going to inject some alcohol into a wrapped peppermint? For the love of god, this is ridiculous. Why do these idiots think they can take whatever they want? Meanwhile there were folks above the student section with cans of beer. (bravo to them!). Help. The gatefolks are losing their minds and taking us with them!!!

I didn't even get so much as a "anything in your pockets" when I went in. I could've smuggled a keg in.

I've been hassled for bringing in goldfish crackers, juice, etc. for my 2 year old son. They usually let me take it in, but I think the rule is "NO outside food or drink."
I can see it to a degree, but I don't want to feed my kid pop, candy, cookies, etc for the whole game. I have a hard enough time trying to keep him under control without adding a bunch of sugar to the mix.
