Player of the game
Who's your MVP of the ISU game?
My player of the game is EJ Cochrane. 1-1 on FG and 2-2 on PATs. That first field goal that he made was huge. I hope this momentum carries on through the rest of the season. Keep up the good work Coch!

Just got back from a Pocatello...Cooper was AMAZING today, if you didn't get to see this one on TV you missed out. Great game for King too with 2 batted down balls including the game-clinching 4th down play (Although Travis did fumble the snap on the second kneel play
) Also, for the first time since approximately the Nixon administration, MSU outperformed the opponent in the kicking game, so good job EJ, Dusty, and Matt!

COOPER ==> AMAZING as always, but my game ball goes to Eddie Sullivan and Ricky Gatewood. Finally our receivers are showing some life which should open up the running game for us. This team is gonna be DANG good by the end of the year. Our defense gave up a lot of passing yards, but that is what is gonna happen when you pass 50+ times a game. How many games have you seen in college/NFL where the QB passes for 50+ times and they ALWAYS lose. I swear. In my opinion Idaho State is so greedy on their passing game that they totally went away from their running game which was marching them down the field in the first half.
WHAT A GREAT GAME THOUGH! HUGE WIN FOR THE CATS. I think we are gonna be just fine in the secondary as we won't find a better passing team/WR tandem in the Big Sky this year. 13 points we held them to, wow.
Good Job Kramer/Bailey/Kowski on an excellent game play I thought.
Let knock the snot out of Weber this week! Stick 9 men in the box and make that QB beat us. I don't think he can do it, talk about Duck passes he was throwing against the Griz.

Your secondary really suprised me! They batted down many passes that saved TD's. Great job on the blitzing packages. Our QB could not handle the pressure and our O-line is not strong enough to pick up the extra pass rushers.
Both offenses stunk. There should have been higher scores across the table. Defense is what kept both teams in the game. Good job to MSU players and coaches. Good turnout for Cat rodies as well. I think there were more MSU fans at the game than there were Griz supporters last year!
Good luck and see you next year.

By the way...
Lulay sucks at punting, but those punts were pretty much untouchable.

That's the point...he kicks them low along the ground and they generally don't get returned.snake wrote:Lulay sucks at punting, but those punts were pretty much untouchable.

Coop! not even anyone close. Although the bobcat crowd was fantastic as well. Definately the 12th yesterday. We made so much noise when ISU was on O in front of us. I know we affected them. A few of us may have got into Hetheringtons head in the 4th quarter. All good fun.
Next time we play down there i think we need even more people. It is not that far and thier stadium/farm quansit is interesting to watch a game in.

Cooper. No question. He single-handedly stopped a few of their drives.

Well, it sure isn't the 18,000 fans the friz undoubtedly brought to Ogden, but it is a start. Now, I know that Weber's stadium only holds 17,500 people, but you have to assume that every fan at the game was a friz, then you have to account for the 500 or so people that couldn't get into the game and just tailgated outside.CARDIAC_CATS wrote:Cat Envy!
