Livingston (Chinook) Winds

Post by Cats92 » Sat Dec 21, 2024 7:37 am

In 2021 the interstate around Livingston was shut down which caused many Cats’ fans to be late to the game. I tried getting the word out on it then, but i thought a little reminder for those headed over from the east was due. I checked the forecast and it looks like there should be ZERO issue with the Chinook winds today. If that changes, I’ve got a route pretty dialed in as I’ve been working in that area for quite some time.

Take the highway 89 exit, go north and hang a left just across the bridge on Old Clyde Park Road. From there it’s 35 mph for the most part but it’s better than a stand still.

Enjoy the scenery until it runs you into East Gallatin Street, then take a right.

There’s construction on East Gallatin Street but follow the detour signs up North N street, left onto East Montana Street, left again onto a street that intersects with E Gallatin Street and continue on.

The road will then zig then zag from North C street into North Chinook Street.

At the 4 way stop take a left onto North Main Street and go under the underpass to the light.

From here you’re going to want to go straight through the light which will put you across park street and on North B Street. AVOID PARK STREET AT ALL COSTS. The intersection at the underpass could be confusing.

Pick any other East to West street on the south side of the tracks until you can take a right onto North 7th Street. You’ll end up at the light that intersects Park street and continue straight through the intersection and onto highway 10 West.

Boogie your way down highway 10 and onto the interstate to continue your journey!!
