Open or Closed Practices?

With the changing philosophies on spring games across the landscape of college football, here is another wrinkle Colorado is thinking of doing.

The Syracuse Head Coach has already said that they're willing to travel to Colorado for a few days to do this. NCAA rules currently don't allow teams to play against other teams during Spring Practice, but every other NCAA rule has seemed to get overturned recently so why not this one too. Seems like a pretty good idea to practice against another team for a couple days and then play them in a Spring scrimmage/exhibition game.
