I did point out in the game thread but feel it needs to be reiterated, everyone in the SFA athletics department was incredibly upset that we were forced to drop the regular season series between the two schools.

The SLC randomly decided to schedule us a conference game the same day we were supposed to play MSU, which was 2 weeks before any other conference game started, and SFA was forced to either drop the MSU game or forfeit a conference game.

It sucks on both sides because both schools had to replace what would’ve been a good matchup for a really terrible sub-D1 opponent, and SFA had to pay out for a game they didn’t have control in dropping.

I’ll certainly never be critical of another team for whatever reason getting off our schedule. I’ve had to eat humble pie when we dumped NDSU off our schedule so we could go collect a check elsewhere a few years back. My North Dakota friends periodically bring that up when jabbing me…they haven’t forgotten yet!!!

It's just bad when you guys do it. It wasn't our fault when we had to cancel a series with the bizon.

I appreciate your input. I apologize if it came across as a cheap shot. I'm in Austin and have two good friends that are Lumberjacks. The last three days have been filled with my texts asking them "where is the timber here?".

Would have loved to get our Texas guys down here for a game.
