In all honesty, my favorite part about the bizarre saga between this former griz player and egriz, is how you guys just NOW seem to be noticing how crazy that plays is; or how arrogant the fans are! I mean Schmidt is literally fighting with a guy that claims to be the end-all-be-all of griz football and a huge donor. This is a griz fan. Do you really think this behavior is all brand new? Cat fans have been witnessing this online for 25 years!

I've been getting ripped to shreds on EGriz since I was a senior in high school. So this is nothing new or surprising to me. We are not just noticing. Schmidt is just the first person to have the balls to go at the people who talk ****** about us constantly behind their screen names.

What seems to escape them, even though we talk about it openly, is that Schmidt's whole deal is a bit. It's a joke. He's JOKING. It's supposed to be funny. So many don't get it. The other thing they don't get is that 20 page threads hating on Schmidt does nothing but drive more traffic to his episodes.

Just seeing this Colter. I guess I shouldn’t have worded it like you and a former griz player are clueless about griz fans’ and egriz antics. What I should have said is I guess I’m surprised that after like 3 decades of that board being an absolute must read circus; did you two now decide to say it’s a wild place to visit with even wilder perspectives?

It may be a “schtick” to Schmidt, but we’re watching it play out in real time and I’m not sure it’s a schtick to all those saying more asinine things and threatening violence!

Either way I don’t want it to change as it’s my favorite board far and away. Just wanted to clear up my stance. Schtick or not, I love seeing Andrew get a glimpse of what griz fandom can look like with some of them!
