You're taking it the wrong way. It was Parker Cotton at the BDC who has covered the team for at least a couple years, not sure how many, and obviously knows Vigen well enough to have a good idea of how he would answer. I assume he was teeing him up for the answer he gave. He knows how much loyalty and respect Vigen has for MSU, Bozeman and Bobcat Nation. It wasn't a gotcha question, it was an opportunity to say that in this day and age sticking with something to the end rather than chasing the next shiny object can pay off like this.CodyCat wrote: ↑Tue Jan 06, 2026 5:00 pmThat last question was garbage. I think had it been worded properly and asked at a different moment in time it would be a great question. Vigen wins the first Natty in 41 years and gets asks a question about loyalty to the program. He was choosing his words very carefully but there's some great stuff there.
Thank you Colter and Skyline, Bobcat and Griz fans alike are incredibly lucky to have this level of media coverage.
I'd be interested in @Colter_Nuanez 's interpretation of the question as well as the answer, especially the "wow" at the beginning.
