Lamson is so calm, poised and clutch. I have never been a big believer in the transfer-QB-as-savior idea so I was skeptical that he could be this type of player. My god was i wrong. That was quite a performance.
While it was the portal, we've had drop-down QBs before. While we might lose him to the portal he was really s drop-down guy.
Right, I kind of view them all the same. But who was the best one before now? Rolovich? I just had memories of the Tyler Thomas, Cody Kempt, Tyler Bruggman experience. Bruggman was JC but had been at a D1 prior. This one has gone better than those, you might say. Haha. But I think that's where the pessimism came from, our best runs at QB before now have been with "program guys."
Don't forget Chambers.

Assuming all we lose on offense to the portal is 1-2 OL, Lamson has a great shot at getting drafted in 2027. He continued to get better over the last 6 games against the best teams in the country. A full offseason with Sterbick/Vigen and a loaded offense and he should be a top Payton contender. Coon should be ready for a much larger role and we should be able to replace our 2 Sr WRs with Jabez and a combination of our current bench and a transfer. Taco, Adam, Dane and Rocky will be another year older, wiser and bigger and have more chemistry with Lamson.

We'll be the team to beat even if we lose 5-6 starters in the portal who aren't Lamson, Taco, Caden, and Adam. Our true freshman lineman are impressive so if we lose some guys, we're going to be competitive up front still. Defensively I do think we go after more depth on the Dline and we'll probably being in 3 more corners because I expect 4-5 of our secondary to transfer due to NIL.

He may have a shot to be drafted but I wouldn't bet on it. Doesn't really have a gun.

He has as good of an arm as many current starters in the league. His main issues are deep ball accuracy and his long throwing motion.

Need some beef in the middle of DL.

Josiah Asuega, come on down! Hopefully he'll stay a year or 2 and put some good stuff on tape.

It's crazy how one side of my brain during the timeout was its 4th and 10 for the natty, no way we get this. The other side was Lamson is a gamer, he'll will us to this and the Cats will win. It's weird how it works but there are people that are wired different and they just rise to the occasion. Lamson is one of those. Basking in the title but excited for next season.

They are very high on him.

Lamson AND Taco have proven they are both gamers. Neither of them flinched on 4th and 10.

Come on!

Just had to post this one again. I love how aggressive he is. Of all the TDs yesterday this is the definitive Lamson.

Never thought we'd be ranking all time QBs so soon again.

Lamson isn't afraid to get hit, which in turn makes him super aggressive in his running decisions. He always makes the opposing defense make a tackle to bring him down

One of his onfield interviews last night they asked what he was going to do. He said head with family to CA for week then back to Bozeman. Said workouts start 3 weeks and get ready for next year. If he was thinking of portal can't imagine him saying that.
