The running into the kicker in the first half when it was 4th and 4 gave them a 1st down, and they ended up scoring on that drive. If we had gotten the ball back and potentially drove for a score there, it would've completely changed the dynamic of the game.....and kept our defense off the field.
I don't think they scored after that but it allowed them to get their TOP machine working. I do agree that it might have allowed us to be up even more going into the half.
Maybe you're right. Memory's a little foggy :-)
Now that I think about it, they might have had to punt a few downs later.

Brock was also held on that play, and pretty egriogously so. At worst, those should have been offsetting penalties.

Did you guys see that Montana State is the only FBS, FCS or NFL team to block both a field goal and a PAT, in the last 2 minutes of the 4th quarter, or OT, in the same game, (any game, playoffs or otherwise).

That was posted by OptaStats and someone shared it on fb. That's pretty amazing and totally historic!!

Wow, and to think of just how many games have been played for well over a century of history of football. To be the only team EVER to do it is mind-boggling. Thanks for bringing this to our attention!

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

I wanted to post the image, as it was cool, but I'm not good at that lol.

But yes, such an amazing record, likely to never happen again! This 2025 team, and the game, was historic. So glad I was able to be there to witness it!
