BTW, I’ve noticed that WA Griz has those maroon bolt-on seats you can rent. Why in the world haven’t we offered that yet? I know, snow removal Blah Blah Blah, but I’m sick of having to get people to move cause they’re not in the right spot, or are trying to squeeze in where they don’t belong. I think those seats would help a lot.

It might be because no-one wants maroon seats at Bobcat stadium.
On a more serious note it must be more of an issue where you sit than where I sit. It happens so seldom that it's not much of an annoyance and sometimes is more of an entertaining novelty. Years ago a young gal and her boyfriend sat next to me. The girl kept kind of big butting me so I finally asked her what she was doing. She said I was in her seat or technically in half her seat and half mine and should move over half a seat. I told her no that I was in my season seat I'd had for years and knew it's exact location. She got her boyfriend involved who agreed with me and told her she was wrong. They got in a big fight and after a while she left. After a bit I told the guy I was sorry, he said it was ok that she would get over it and was a little dumb but had other redeeming qualities. We laughed. doubt that relationship lasted too long.

If you're looking for someone with a little authority, I'm your man. I have as little as anyone!

I agree. They get put on right before the game and taken out afterwards. You rent them for the season.

Same. And I live in Billings.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

My daughter would probably commit to MSU today (she's an 8th grader) if we had softball. She's determined to play college softball and won't consider a school that doesn't have a team. We really should have soccer and softball like the rest of the conference.

It’s the same with my 7th grader. (I also have two younger ones that keep asking why MSU doesn’t have a team.

Agreed....also, sounds like UM is planning to add Women's Flag Football? So that might be on the agenda as well...Not sure what our space and athletics budget looks like for that. Also, title IX (is that still a thing?) probably required to add men's sports for each women's sport.

I think UM only has 2 Montana players on their roster, and I believe both of them played club travel with a team from Washington. Not to mention, one of the player's dad is a UM football hall of famer.

Here's an opinion that's going to be unpopular: We have more than enough scholarship sports. We don't need more.

I'm on board with starting some club teams but there's no need to spend more resources on sports that practically nobody outside of friends and family are going to watch.

Showing pressure on fourth down in overtime. They bring pressure. Lamson throws...Endzone! Caught! TOUCHDOWN!!! Taco Dowler!

And a kick away from a championship.

Here we go. Miles Sansted. Snap, hold, kick, Up, GOOOOD!! FOR A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!

The funny thing is there are lots of people who want more money for the football program that also want more and more sports added and don’t realize those goals aren’t very compatible.

They all seem to have something in common. You never hear anyone saying they wish we had scholarship hockey, wrestling or men's golf (at least not on the football threads).

As unpopular as saying we should do away with Title IX? Because that’s my take.

Here is a link to the Alumni foundation, it includes a phone number you can call. Let them know that you want to donate to the stadium fund and they will work with you on a one time, monthly, or yearly donation. Welcome aboard!

You know how to get sh** done and the process to make it happen. I get all their emails because I donate often but new comers have no idea how it happens. So thanks for doing what you do..new comers wanting access to games with season tickets that aren’t available at moment, get on board and help make it happen, whether it’s QB Club, Alumni Foundation or Bobcat Club. There are numerous ways you can donate.

Donating has changed so much over the past ten years. I remember it was like pulling teeth trying to get a hold of someone to donate money to the facilities plan, nobody would return phone calls. I finally sent a check directly to Waded and she got me hooked up with the right folks. Then, they wouldn’t set up a direct link to the facilities fund and I had to add a special code along with my monthly donation, just so it went where I wanted it to. After complaining about that process for nearly a year, they finally sent up a direct link online. MSU is now very good at making it easy to get them money, almost too good. Now, I get those constant emails and mailings too.

I would say so, too, Preston. Hope you’re not mad about everyone liking Nashville over Dallas/Frisco. Did you go?

MSU - 17 team National Champions (most recent 2025); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).
