Gameday Thread: Calgary vrs Montana State
MSU 48-Calgary 16 at half
Marvin Moss has 9 point and is making it look easy,Taylor Pratt is making me look like an idiot with 8 points so far, Brown scored all 4 of his points on one play. Beye has 4 points, but is changing is changing the game. Dissley has only 5 points but is handing out assists left and right.

There's a lot to like about this team.
Calgary looked like about a Frontier Conference team. Our speed and athletism was way too much for them.
Durham went and got some really nice players from all over the country-and even the world-but our best all around player and best athlete is from Bozeman, Montana. Nick Dissly really looks like an all-conference type of player-his game has very few weaknesses, and boy can that kid jump!
Al Beye might be the most exciting new player we've ever had. He's going to be a huge fan favorite-I'll bet he's responsible for bringing in an extra 500-1000 people all by himself. He's a great character, plays to the crowd, encourages his teammates, and runs the floor like no other center we've ever had. Two times in a row he started a fast break under the opponents basket, and finished the break with dunks-beating everybody down the floor. He also blocked or altered several shots-the game was completely different with him in there. The only negative I saw was he needs to resist swatting at every shot like a volleyball player-he could be foul prone-although he did adjust and avoided fouling out.
With Pratt, Beye, and Dissly-we might just lead the league in goal tending! These guys can play way above the rim.
Marvin Moss is nice prototypical undersized power forward. He has good skills, can face up to the basket and drive on a defender and has good range. Looks like a really good get.
Brandon Miller also looks like he might be as good as advertised-quick release jump shot-good range, maybe a little streaky.
We're loaded with guards-as Durham's teams used to be. Frank is easily our best point guard, but we won't need him to play 35 minutes a game this year. Even Casey Durham looks like he'll be a lot of help on the perimeter.
Get out to watch this team. They may not be an instant success, but given a little time to gel-they could be pretty good. And Al Beye is worth the price of admission all by himself.

Judging by the score and the highlights that I saw, you guys don't look like a last place team that is predicted by the polls.
