Boy I tell you what, I think it says a lot about the state of the Montana State Program that we can brining in a guy like Sterbick, who is the head coach at a solid D2 school in Colorado School of Mines, to be our Offensive Coordinator.

I happened to be at the Fieldhouse when Solomonson was giving his firing/resignation press conference. The man was in tears as a friend and I stood and watched from the back row.

If only there were a formula for hiring that always worked, it would be much easier!

Hey, if that's justification we need to get the east grandstands replaced, I'm 100% behind it. Maybe perform an exorcism and/or a seance while we are at it, if that is the case.

Would be nice to finally get that replaced. Before they would repaint it, I was afraid getting Tetanus from the exposed rust.

Well, he certainly has the credentials of a Bobcat-like OC - High scoring; red zone success; great experience. Regardless of the Stitt experience over the hill, I think it looks like a great hire with his experience. Cats need to be an explosive offense as part of our MO.

As long as he uses tight ends and doesn’t run the fly sweep a dozen times a game, it’s all good.

Well, he certainly has the credentials of a Bobcat-like OC - High scoring; red zone success; great experience. Regardless of the Stitt experience over the hill, I think it looks like a great hire with his experience. Cats need to be an explosive offense as part of our MO.

Possibly, but if they are that just creates different positions that need to be filled. Three outgoing coaches so far means three total outside hires are needed to get back to being fully staffed.

That COULD be a selling point employed to get him on board as the O.C.! “When Vigen leaves, depending on your resume’ as the O.C. You may very well have a look at the HC of the Bobcats!”

Ahh, the veer offense. Run so well by NDSU, but Earl couldn't implement it very well at MSU. I'll never forget his quote; "You can run for a touchdown just as fast as you can throw for one." Not if your run game can't get past the line of scrimmage, Earl.
