Awesome. Thanks for posting these.

Is that the whole roof? Or are their sections left to hang up?
Looks like some significant gaps to finish still but it is amazing how much they accomplished in just three days. At this rate, they could have it completely enclosed soon, but that is dependent on the weather and if they have the building material coming in on time.
The plan is definitely to have it completely enclosed soon. Talking with AD folks the plan was to get it enclosed before any snow flies so they are able to easily keep working on the inside.

I was at the ISU game 10 or so days ago, the highest portion of their Quonset hut is listed at 89 feet. I am guessing that to be as outside dimension. Inside there is a catwalk and basketball scoreboard. Hall almost hit the ceiling more than once.
This is from wikipedia. From the playing surface to the top of the structure is 109 feet. Obviously, the ceiling is below that 109' height.

"Holt Arena is recessed twenty feet (6 m) below grade and rises 89 feet (27 m) above grade at its highest point."
So, it would be pretty easy for them to bulldoze the whole thing into that hole, bring in some fill dirt to cover the debris, and build a real field on top of it all?

Just a suggestion.
Lotta money to practice a few punts. They can always practice the directional shorter punts.

Well, so far, they’ve lucked out on the weather. Hope that nice weather trend continues for another month or so and they should be golden.

Who's got a good number for an over/under on the number of FTG's that were written on that beam? :D

The KSAC is moving right along. Glad to see it got some air time during the game.

Any updates on the KSAC?
I saw Leon said it wouldn’t be finished until spring in his email this week.

I was up there over the weekend, didn't look like a whole lot has changed since they finished putting up all the roof beams. I didn't get up close enough to the site to see if they're doing any more work at ground level.

All the work the last week or so has been on wrapping the beams in whatever material they are using for that. Beams are changing from grey to white, seems to be a long process.

If I was a recruit walking onto this campus, this would be the easiest decision to make.

Not so fast, pal. Apparently you haven’t seen the Trojan Dome over the hill.

Putting a huge Trojan condom logo on the facade would be an epic rivalry prank. I would pay money to see that.

Drove by today. They are starting to put the exterior on the west wall.

Drove by yesterday, it would have been really cool if there was a way to leave the south facing end all glass or something, the view is amazing.

I know we saw renderings a few years/months ago, does anyone know what the final product will look like? I’m hoping it’s not all just white and there are some large logos on it. The roof seems like an awesome place for a giant bobcat logo

It would make sense to use some translucent panels on the south end to take advantage of natural lighting like they did with the Kibbie Dome. It’s my understanding this is a prefabricated structure so not sure there is much room to customize any of its design.
