So who has new pictures? With all this snow they need to dry out the inside before they start in on it after the roof is finished and that could take some time.
If the roads don’t suck, I’ll go up tomorrow and take some pics before the ladies b-ball game. There are some images taken within the past three weeks on the previous pages to this thread. It doesn’t look like the indoor will be completed until May now, so don’t expect a lot of change.

I don’t know, doesn’t look too bad to me. Plus football, soccer, softball, and track and field have all been using it already. Whether it’s a bubble or different material, it’s finished and being utilized and 68 degrees. And the community schedule is filling up fast and bringing in extra $ to the university for rentals. I’m happy with it.
Both are good facilities although it's hard to argue that what MSU is building isn't better, so Bobcat fans will always poke a little fun at the Griz facility. Griz fans do the same with the football stadiums themselves, both are clearly in the upper echelon of FCS stadiums but yours is still the best of any of them.
I think this is the correct answer for anyone with a brain. They are both clearly very good assets that most FCS programs do not have. But one is still clearly better than the other.
The only thing the gris have over MSU’s is that they’ll be in it roughly one calendar year before us. After they’re both up and running, it’s clear which one is the better facility.

But you’re right, it’s always fun to poke the bear a little bit and get a reaction. It goes both ways and the fan bases from both get riled up pretty easily in the whole scheme of things.
I'm in Missoula weekly and that dome is tough to look at. Maybe it's the maroon, maybe it's the plastic. Honestly it's probably the fact that it's so big and in a fairly attractive setting near the river. Like if you lived in a nice neighborhood and your neighbor put up a giant inflatable bounce house in the front yard. I'd imagine that maroon gets unbelievably hot in the summer sun, but maybe that doesn't matter. I just hope they got some extra UV protection or something, because when that bad boy starts to fade it's going to be hideous.
Already is

Go back a couple of pages and look at the photos I took three weeks ago. That’s the most recent time that I was able to view the indoor in person. I don’t live in Bozeman.

Man I like you and appreciate your contributions and pictures but it would've taken less words to type "last I was able to take pictures there was quite a bit of roof work to be done"

No. I drove by and looked on Monday. Southside is almost done. Northside is not even close to being done. Will be lucky if the roof is done by mid March. The weather is not helping. No way the building is done until June.

I seem to remember a completion date of late spring.

Until the first day of summer, it's still late spring. So if it's done before June 20th, it's still late spring. I'll see myself out....

You aren't wrong. I know people on here have been optimistic about the facility being ready for Spring Practice but I've always interpreted "late Spring" to mean May or June. Especially in Montana!

Wow, a lot of roof still left to cover. Weather has not been cooperative lately. Thanks for the pic !

I just take the pics. I can't answer any questions on construction, how far along is this or that, or completion dates, although Vigen said it would be done in May. Here are some pictures from today.

I forgot to get a look and see what it looked like when in town for the afternoon basketball game. Anyone get some pics? If there's been progress.

I drove by but didn’t take any pics. I could see workers on the roof and the crane was lifting something up to them. I couldn’t see inside.

If someone else doesn’t beat me to it, I’ll take some pics next weekend. I’m going up to watch the ladies game on Saturday.

Very little progress if any has been made on the exterior and roof of the building since the last set of photos AFCAT posted on the 8th. Hopefully the improving weather conditions will help!

Okay, Sportsfans, Stevo got his hot air balloon out of winter storage and took some passes over the indoor to give us these great images.
