There's so much snow on the inside.

That’s to simulate winter conditions inside the practice facility.

Just the fact that they almost have one side of the roof done, is damn impressive. January and February have been ugly. I don't think it will be totally done until earl July. It is what it is. Thank You to the hard working roof crew. It has to be like a slip and slid up there.

It’s not like they’re not trying. I was working outside in Bozeman Thursday and Friday near campus and it was a mess. I got stuck on flat ground. Had to burrow through hip deep snow to setup my equipment. They were using motor patrols and front end loaders to move snow. The best snow removal in town was on campus. Driving down streets was comical with parked cars sitting 2-3 feet above the street.

Don't you dare tease me.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

I should have been more specific. Photo is from 1943. I don’t have any names, but stands to reason some of them did die during the war.

This got me curious about service requirements for male students and the ROTC during WWII since the photo was taken in 1943 so I got my Google on.

I took a few pics and sent them to @AFCAT. There's a huge mound of dirt inside the facility. They're almost done with the roof as they've covered about 3/4ths of the space that was left when AFCAT took his last pics. I took the pics on Wednesday the 12th. I'm guessing they're leaving the holes on the south and north ends to allow for large equipment to enter the building. Probably be some kind of garage door(s) there. ??

It's my understanding that ROTC was mandatory at MSU as a land grant college until 1965. When I started at MSU in 1967, my advisor said, "And of course you'll sign up for ROTC." I had been aware that MSU had a mandatory ROTC requirement, I was not aware that the "mandatory" part went away in '65 and was signed up. Later I found out that it was no longer mandatory and assumed my advisor had been so used to signing people up that he still did it automatically.

Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14, but 34-11 will do.

Thanks for the pictures TomCat, I can't argue with your self-evaluation but you shouldn't be so hard on yourself, it takes the fun away from everyone else criticizing your efforts.
Any new info and photo is better than nothing. Thanks for posting the pics AFCAT.

If the over/under for the roof to be done is set at March 21 do you take the over or under?

The under. I'll be back in Bozeman Weds/Thurs and will check it out.

Depends on the definition of “done.” Looking at the aerial views provided a few weeks ago, the peak still needs to be covered. I’d take the over.
