Well, just Rubich to go. I know, PWOs don't have to sign anything, but it seems that they are usually announced by MSU.

There may or may not be another surprise as well. I think there may be a surprise, but I've been wrong before.

Anyway, I'm taking a break for a bit.

I always like WR’s who are good hoopers.

I’m excited about this one. Great athlete. Great family, hard worker. I don’t think he’s played a ton of football, so pretty raw at this point. Potential future for a lance mccutcheon type of ceiling?

That was the final surprise. I knew there would have to be one more. :D Number 120 offer on the year too.

Bummer. I’m on ‘team we need to bring in a QB’. Of course this all personal opinion, I’m fine and confident in Chance and think River will surprise us but will need a year to just play football again. So if our starter gets injured I don’t have much faith in a backup.

Well it seems like between last fall and today we're doing okay. The blow of those who transferred out has softened some with those who decided to stay, return, and join. Looking forward to see how things shape up!

I'm sure they will evaluate what they have this Spring and bring in a QB if one is needed. This isn't the end of the signing class, just the end of the signing class for today.

Next recruiting cycle comes this April with the spring transfer portal. It will be a big one as roster limits settle in at the FBS level. I'm going to continue hanging on to the 99% take that we bring in a QB but obviously Vigen isn't just going to bring in one that doesn't fit what we need. I do know we had targets in January but those did not commit. Anyway, silver lining here is our current QB room gets to compete this spring to prove they are worthy of the #1 spot. There is value in that.

However, if it looks rough Vigen and Sterbick will act quickly in finding a FBS transfer QB. You can apply the same mindset to our secondary and linebacker competition (young talent but need to show something this spring). Excited for spring ball 2025! Let the competition begin.

Oh I get it. I’m just being unreasonable, between losing the championship, our graduating class, and our transfers, I was just hoping for an absolute game changing incoming transfer to negate some of the above mentioned. I’ll always be a fan and this staff does not owe me anything, just wish they’d show a little more fire right now.

Is it possible we lose some more players to the portal?

Yes, it's always possible. However, most likely, it will be players looking for playing time. The odd star player could get a big payday though.

Like Vim wrote. They did look at one QB, maybe two, but he/they didn't work out, so they are still in wait and see mode.
