Who was the last Cat Coach that moved up to 1-A that wasn't fired?

Who was the last 1-AA coach that moved up to 1-A, that had less than a 50% percent W/L records? Has there ever even been one ?
Larry Donovan!! Got fired because the CATS beat the griz while going 1-10 that season.

Joe Tiller. Has he been fired recently?

Who was the um coach that went to Utah State? What is his record there? Less than 500 I am sure.

No way is Hauck in Missoula in 4 years. His ego is way too big to keep him at little old I-AA school (just listen to his interview before the championship game last year), or he is fired due to lack of production.

I dont see any coach staying long in Missoula. Either they win and move on, or lose and get fired (short fuse). The boosters there wouldnt stand for a couple 2-3 years in a row of missing playoffs or 6-5 seasons.

Look at how all the ney-sayers jumped on Hauck 2 seasons ago when they lost a home playoff game in round 1.
Quick, name the year the last Griz football coach fired...Yeah, didn't think so!!! (Donovan was 20 years ago!!!)

Now, if he wins and moves on so be it. Although I didn't like the way Coach Glenn left in the dark of night, I understand it. I think Bobby stays awhile. Nobody at a higher level is going to give a coach with 2-3 years head coaching experience a job running the show...

As for Coach Kramer, he's an established coach with experience running the program at multiple institutions. I truly believe he will be a front runner for a mid major job if he can get past the playoff hurdle and win a game or two over the next couple of years. Then, you can color him gone...
