I agree mquast, blue is nuetral and does not stand out. A strong gold or yellow would really brighten up the place and draw much more attention.

What we need is an actual color other than just blue or gold but a set color that UAS or others could use to help the crowd become a sea of solid blue other than a sea of different shades of blue or gold.
Who hates the Grizzlies? Who want's a sticker?

What you really needed was warm temps for the thing to work, the cold weather didn't help much.

It takes a lot of practice to get these things going.
Oregon has always had a tradition of letting the marching band design a logo and sell it for $7 to raise money for the marching band. Autzen was awash in Lightning Strikes shirts for the victory over Michigan.

That's kind of like at Notre Dame football games....every year the alumni association designs a shirt...creatively named "the shirt", sells it for $15, and every student and fan wears it. Check out the student section at their next game on TV, they're all in yellow this year. It would be sweet if the MSU student section could get everybody into the same color like this, yellow or blue, especially for cat/griz.
Go Cats!
