Boy hope that returner for SSU is OK. That looked really bad.

I am glad that North Dakota State lost. My next wish is for Colorado to lose everyone of the rest of their games.

Re: Thursday 8/29 FCS
Wow, looks like things went downhill fast for Sac State after I turned the game off. From 24-21 up to a 42-24 loss. No FCS over FBS wins on Thursday but looks like there are a few good possibilities on Saturday. No FCS teams are favored to win but the closest point spreads are Nicholls (+8) at Louisiana Tech, SEMO (+8.5) at New Mexico State, SDSU (+10) at Oklahoma State, and Central Arkansas (+10) at Arkansas State.

Did Bennet the QB get hurt. I went to bed but stats show the other QB with about 10 throws.

He came back in later in the game but seemed very off.

Sac State kind of fell apart laid in the game. Drop balls and misreads.MSU01 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 6:25 amWow, looks like things went downhill fast for Sac State after I turned the game off. Re: Thursday 8/29 FCS
Typical fashion I fell asleep at halftime and woke up to Sac falling apart. Man there were quite a few FCS over FBS games to be had only to have the FCS teams kinda crap the bad late. It puts an even brighter highlight on how the Cats absolutely bucked that trend.

Agreed, he wasn't super on early in the game either though. They ran the ball well in the first half and dinked and dunked the ball downfield passing. Lots of bad reads by Bennett on the night.

NDSU is very very good. They need to shore up their secondary. But, they will.

i don't think NDSU will see that speed on offence or defense the rest of the year.

Thought I heard their top safety was out injured this game. I assume he’ll be back this year. I would imagine that will help the back end tremendously.

Latest news is that he's out 8-10 weeks and possibly for the entire season.

Re: Thursday 8/29 FCS
Ya, NDSU looked really, really good. I think that 2 year drought of not winning the National Championship lit a fire under them and they're on a mission. When we play them this year, I really hope it's in Bozeman or Frisco, and we get to avenge last year.
Great time to be a BOBCAT!

I think our line is better, I think our backs are better, I think we’re better coached. Colorado, outside of like 3-4 players, is pretty below average.CodyCat wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 12:35 pmWhoa! We didn’t look better coached against New Mexico. We shot ourselves in the foot for 3 quarters.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 12:37 pmI think our line is better, I think our backs are better, I think we’re better coached. Re: Thursday 8/29 FCS
I thought NDSU looked really similar to how they looked last year, so did Colorado. Colorado had a stretch of four straight drives that went for 89, 70, 72 and 80 yards. The drive after that was the one at the end of the game. NDSU gave up over 500 yards (over 400 in 2.5 quarters). I don't think NDSU thinks it played very well. But it's just the first week of the season, so we'll see what happens between Week 1 and Week 2.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 12:37 pmI think our line is better, I think our backs are better, I think we’re better coached.
