Speaking of cherry picking numbers to your benefit... Anyone catch UM President's interview at half time of girls game Saturday? He stated that UM is the fastest growing university in the state. I guess mathematically that may be true, but it's much easier to show bigger increases on smaller numbers to start with.

Yeah, he said the same thing last summer. It’s sad and also doesn’t take into account other things, like new infrastructure, monetary donations, etc., where they are way behind, but that’s all they have right now. He is desperate to sell any sort of success, even if it may be a one year blip. They do have a nice football stadium though and that’s what’s really important. He also rappelled down from the rafters during a break in the basketball game and some gris fans wrote that Cruzado (they used a slur to describe her) couldn’t do that. I thought that was hilarious considering I learned to rappel down cliffs when I was a teenager. It’s just gravity and not hard at all. Looks cool though.

The series started in 2013-14 and UM won the first three, then MSU has won eight in a row (will be nine soon) since then. The cumulative points over the years including the partial results from this year are MSU 107, UM 77.
