Happened late in the game, when the cats were up by like 30………. Why he was still playing is frustrating to say the least…

Based on what Vigen said “it was long game for him” and the fact he got up limping after being hit by Pottenger, it has me wondering if Taki got dinged up at some point or they were limiting his reps since he’s coming off an injury so Dru had to go back in the game. Seems logical. I really think the coaches are looking to keep starters healthy.

It’s really hard to evaluate an injury from the stands. So many times you see players limp off or get helped off only to return. Sometimes it’s obvious that they’re seriously injured, but usually you just don’t know.

Hahahah I’m not even changing that. In fact with how bougie the players are getting with NIL deals, maybe it’s time to make the limo cart to escort their royalty butts off the field.

He then stated that he was out there practicing yesterday, so it was probably just a good shot he took and needed Sunday to recover.

Fingers crossed Dru is out there as close to 100% as possible. He’s the anchor of a secondary that will see lots of work against the Yotes.

Any updates on Julius? Sure would be nice to have that three headed monster working out if the backfield. Relying on Jones again after the beating he took against Idaho would be a lot to ask of the freshman.

He’s been asked and talked about before, but I wonder what his plan is? Move on after this year? Or does he get a medical redshirt and come back for one more year?
If he came back, he’d be awfully buried on the depth chart, even if we lose a guy or two in the offseason, it looks like we’re still at least 4 deep at the position without him. Does he come back to provide depth, special teams play and leadership?

He’s on the sideline every game, right in the thick of it congratulating players as they come off the field. So he’s very much involved, just wonder what the future holds for him. He’s an easy one to root for, just a bummer the way it’s worked out for him.

Correct, he was a 2020 Freshman so still retains his redshirt season if he wants to use it. I know we hate the transfer portal in general but Elijah is a guy I'd support 100% if he decides to use it and find somewhere to play next year where he'll be higher on the depth chart than he has been lately at MSU even when healthy. It's a little baffling that he hasn't had more chances to play as he always has looked great when he has been in there.

Ah there you go. So he's working on a master's then. Sounds to me like he'd stick around next season then. He's been a great Bobcat and a loyal teammate, seems to have a great attitude.

Apparently some of you forget his film. He’s very capable and healthy would definitely be in the front of the mix. Not all have short-term memories of how well he performed when he filled in for Isaiah
