I wonder if you can buy SRO tickets the actual day of the game??

I would think so? Also, as I mentioned in another thread, seeing the ticket priced creeping down just a bit. If you look at Vivid Seats,(which we've used a lot and I have never heard of anyone having a problem getting scammed on that site - has anyone else?) there are SRO tickets listed for $175 +fees, and seats open all over the place starting at $228 +fees and they go up from there. When I go to the actual official site, they don't show SRO tickets there for some reason, does anyone know why? I wanted to compare prices.

I’ve said this a few other times/threads but I am pretty sure this is because SRO has not actually been released yet. Those secondary sites are speculative sales before release, don’t buy them and wait for the actual release of SRO from the NCAA. I think last time they released those around a week before the game.

Ok, thanks! Interesting... because as I've said, we've bought concert and sports events off Vivid quite a bit and have never had a problem. I'm wondering what it would look like if I actually purchased some SRO tickets, i.e. what they would send me..... if they don't exist yet. At any rate, I am planning on waiting as you suggest anyway but just interesting.

Let me clarify, I am not at all saying that those sales won't be legit. They just literally don't have those tickets in hand yet. We have bought concert tickets from Vivid before that we got the same notice, that they tickets would be delivered prior to the event but not immediately upon purchase. One we didn't get until the day of, and it made it kind of nerve wracking but we did get them. All I am saying is that there is no reason to overpay for SRO tix on a second hand site now when they haven't even been released. Just wait for the NCAA to release them and buy direct and likely save some money.

I may have a line on 4-6 tickets from some SDSU friends. Not looking to upcharge anyone

I’d take 3 if you still have them. But it’s a bit weird when you’re selling tickets and you have a very new profile here…..

Been a Cat fan my whole life and just joined Bobcat Nation this fall because I was looking for Cat/Fizz tickets for myself and heard this was a good place to get reasonable priced tickets that aren’t upsold. Can give you my phone number through a message on here so you can give me a call!

I joined the jacks ticket page and they have a lot of fans with tickets they don’t want to sell straight through AXS to avoid all the BS fees they stick you with. I have 4 more I found for $208/piece. I’m just trying to help get more of our fans in the stadium. Last time I went in 2021, it felt like we were outnumbered by the Bizun fans…

If anybody needs tickets, BobbyHoax (great screen name) is your guy! He found four at a great price, and we won’t be sitting next to smelly loud mouthed bye-son fans.

I guess its just me but if i'm forking out a significant amount of $$ to go to that game I would not try and get tix from an unreliable source. I've bought tickets every year since '21 from the NCAA and utilized the AXS app to resell them. It would be the only place I would purchase them from. Sold em for a decent profit in '22. Last year I doubled my money after NDSU lost to UM (im sure some gris fan got impatient) and this year I had to make the tough decision to let mine go. We had been looking to move for some time and the right house came on the market and we closed a few weeks ago so the bank account just isn't in the right spot. I sold mine for just a little more than the regular price and fees. Hopefully to a Bobcat.

This is what most NDSU fans do. They are so used to going they have this down. Either buy at the beginning when they first offer or wait till the day before or of. They will come down and you will get in. But do it via the AXS app.

Vivid, stub hub, gametime, seat geak, the ncaa uses AXS for this game, etc. All are good and guaranteed or your money back, which doesn’t stop imposters from selling you a fake ticket, but nonetheless they are all reputable and they make it tough to upload fake tickets. When I have sold on stub hub, seat geak, and vivid they verified my tickets before it let me post them for sale.Used all of them many times, except gametime. Used stub hub last time for additional tickets to the game, no issue. I am looking at buying some additional standing room ones from gametime this time due to fees, depending on who all is going.

I've sold and bought tickets on Stubhub and when you sell them, you don't get paid until a few days after the event so it really wouldn't make a lot of sense for a scammer to post/sell tickets that don't exist since they wouldn't be getting paid for them. Still, just because it doesn't make sense doesn't mean that some idiot wouldn't do it just for fun. Stubhub guarantees your ticket or you get your money back - not that that's going to help you on game day but I bought two SRO tix on there a few days ago and have confidence they'll come through. If not, next weekend might be a bigger drunk than planned;-)

For all the hold outers like me, ticket process continue to creep down, just a bit. This is a good sign. Those SRO tics on VividSeats are now $166, and cheapest seats are now around $200.
