Re: Creative Charters
Has anyone received the itinerary for the charter? Supposed to leave tomorrow and now I'm not very impressed with this company. Hope the delivery.

If you are leaving from Bozeman tomorrow.
Check in at the airport at 1:30. Look for Bobcat Express people in the lobby to get your tickets and check in.
I bet they have itineraries available at check in

We’re doing the EB Sports but FWIW Chase did flag the charge as fraud so we had to follow up and get them to rerun the charge which wasn’t super easy.

I have flown with twice out of Bozeman. Very reputable company. Check spam folder pic up the phone and call them in panic mode if need be. Be polite, they are good people.

Re: Creative Charters
Just FYI for when the Cats make it to the Natty again. Creative Charters did a pretty good job. However, the one cluster was the $40 brunch. That event was a joke. It ended up not being a brunch at all but basically a drop off at a Mall type food court with little to no seating available and long lines that took forever to get through. We also only got $25 to spend on food and some drinks weren't included. I had other issues with that brunch event but the rest of the trip with them went smoothly.

Re: Creative Charters
I think msu put that on. I agree with everything. Nice to have a spot we all could congregate but not too accommodating. Long long lines. No seating. I guess I wouldn’t want to have to organize this but I wouldn’t go to it again.AFCAT wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2025 9:06 amJust FYI for when the Cats make it to the Natty again. Yes, this was an MSU event. I was not a fan. Only one place that served breakfast like food. No alcohol was allowed on the 25$ card despite being advertised. We ended up spending all of our money and loaded up on food for our airbnb though lol.bobcatmaniac wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2025 10:09 amI think msu put that on. I agree with everything. Re: Creative Charters
I got roped into the brunch from my charter. I didn't hear anything about it being an MSU event. I thought it would be an actual buffet type brunch and not the mess we got. I’ll know better next time. The really bad part for me was that I got charged twice. I paid the charter $80 for the event and arrived to find out I needed some sort of a pass to get in that I never received, so I had to pay another $80 to get inside. Then, I was so peeved at the absolute sh*&show, that we left early and Ubered back to our hotel instead of waiting on and taking the charter bus. That Uber cost $30. So, for four sliders, two cokes, and two fries, I paid $190. I’m trying to get a refund on the first $80 payment. Still a huge waste of time and money.bobcatfan15 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2025 10:21 amYes, this was an MSU event. I was not a fan. Only one place that served breakfast like food. Every other part of the Charter was really good. The hotel was nice, the busses ran on time, the plane was a little late leaving but worked out great. I was a little disappointed by the Sunday funday event, even though that wasn’t really a charter thing but it was included in the price. There wasn’t any info on what that event was actually about. Turned out, it was just a social function. We paid to get into the Cowboys indoor practice facility, walk on the field, listen to a poor sound system with short speeches by Danny U, Vigen, Costello, and Waded and music that I could barely make out, and pay more money for overpriced beer and snacks. There were over 4,000 Bobcat fans that showed out for it and that was cool. Got to see some old friends too, but I probably wouldn’t waste my time on it again. I’d rather have a nice meal in a real restaurant.

Re: Creative Charters
I am confused. Where you on Creative Charters or EB Sports?
I spoke with reps from Creative and they were directing us to sign up with MSU Alumni if we wanted the Monday brunch. They didn't want to have to manage the brunch tickets because they were being distributed through the tickets west accounts and it was too difficult for them to manage (they were offering buses for anyone who signed up).

Re: Creative Charters
I actually loved the Funday event. Much better than the last time in Frisco. The Jazz Band that played the first hour or two were terrific!!! I could hear them just fine. Always love it whenever our Spirit of the West band can show up. It was nice to have a place to sit in the stands if you couldn’t get a seat on the floor for older tired legs. I enjoy hearing Danny U, Vigen, Costello and Cruzado….and the funny “ditty” by Dean and Larry. Met so many great people from around the state and the venue gave a great way to walk about and meet folks….not too crowed and not “over” spacious. It was great adding the bouncy houses so you could bring the little folks to enjoy. Nice selection by bookstore there but that checkout line was simply too long! Hope you got your picture taken next to the nice Bobcat marquees. The drinks were higher than the Pony bar but were not up to the prices of Gameday venues where beer is $15 a cup….heck I paid $13 for a stout double Crown Royal which was less I would pay at any nicer place in Bozeman. And this time they had SHORT LINES to get a beer rather than an hour in line to get a drink like last time in Frisco. Let’s put it this way……if I wanted to have a nice meal someplace I had all day to do that elsewhere…...i came to the event expecting an opportunity to meet a bunch of great Bobcat fans and it met and exceeded my expectations for a venue….guess it’s just a matter of perspective of what you expected of the evening. I’ve been involved in planning large functions like this in a prior life and appreciate the effort it takes to try to appease the masses. Re: Creative Charters
You must have been up near the band and speeches, because I couldn’t understand a word they said or a bit of the music. That sound system wasn’t meant for that facility. The Spirit of the West band was the only bit that came out well because they didn’t need a sound system to be heard. Like I wrote before, the event was fine other than that. BTW, I didn’t go there looking for a meal, that’s just a comment about how I’d rather have spent my time after going to the event. I’m glad that you have planned large functions before. Must have been a huge success.BobcatDel wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2025 9:00 amI actually loved the Funday event. Much better than the last time in Frisco. Re: Creative Charters
I agree with this, the Funday event was excellent. I appreciated that for my family of 4 I only had to pay for the adults, so at $80 wasn't crazy, especially after we spent $160 to tour the Cowboys Stadium. The AF actually had a guy running around timing lines at the beer servers to try to make sure folks were enjoying themselves and not just standing in beer lines.BobcatDel wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2025 9:00 amI actually loved the Funday event. I think the logistics of feeding 4500 people a "nice meal" would have been a nightmare. I think quite a few folks showed up to the event, spent their 2-hours or so, and then headed out to find something to eat. I didn't use a charter, but had some friends that did, and I think they also ended up ubering/catching rides to a restaurant to eat. I did feel like the event description from the AF website described this event accurately.

Re: Creative Charters
First off i know the events were not put on by creative charters, they just were our transportation. I purchased my tickets for Sunday to the event on line and paid, but never got my tickets do to a glitch in the seat geek app. a lot of people had to scramble to download some other browser for it to work. this was a fail by MSU alumni Foundation. I did not realize creative charters was also providing tickets. So i paid twice. Uggg
I thought the Sunday funday was great. TONS of people their. I herd last time you could not get a drink to save your life. This year, it was great i didn't stand in line for a drink more than a couple of minutes. The book store line was ridiculous so i skipped it.
Once the program started , I moved toward the stage to get a better view. I thought the sound was good. and the program was decent.
I could see if you where at the other end of the "football field" it would be hard to see and hear. I enjoyed the videos but wished the played all the hype videos from the entire season to keep the videos going during the entire event.
I cant imagen the work that went into that event but, I'm sure it was significant. Over all i thought it was well done.
Last thing, a lot of women were caught of guard with the no purses allowed in the event. I don't think that was explained well.
Once they got off the bus and up to the door, they were not allowed in with the purse. At this point they cant take it back to the car and stash
it because the rode the bus. I know some that had to stash purses in bushes along the buildings so they could enter.
Again, i thought it was a good event for Sunday.
Now the brunch at the mall Monday morning was a total fail. No place to sit, and no breakfast food. We each got a $25 food card but none of us used it all. we basically thru away $6.00 apiece. I would be more than 70% of the attendees were over 60 years old and to not have seats for everyone was not a good deal.
Over all i enjoyed the trip. Thank you Creative charters.
