He’s a special circumstance. I knew without knowing that he was transferring after the New Mexico game as long as he continued to play well.

We would be very naive to think that the result of the game on Monday night has anything to do with the decisions these players are making. Guys like Conner and Scottre have had these NIL/Transfer offers for months, those decisions were made a while ago.

Yup, putting their name in the portal is just a technicality. Decisions were made weeks or months ago. Scottre also has that Washington FSP background and I’m pretty sure those guys help guide his decision making.

Having a few incoming transfer names will make all of us feel better! MSU is definitely a desirable spot to come and play with the fan support and facilities we have in place or that will be in place for next season.

Some people hate when I say this but it's also a great recruiting tool for MSU to be able to show high school players that the program has had guys who have transferred to places like Washington, Baylor, Ohio State, etc. They can come to MSU and play as freshmen and sophomores and then if they're good enough to get the big offer, they can choose to take it if they want. Overall it's a win/win situation for MSU and the player, as the Bobcats were a much better team for having guys like Omar, Sebastian, Conner, and Scottre on the roster even if they didn't play all four years here.

True but I think players shouldn’t come here trying to leave when they get the opportunity. Hell I’m a college athlete and I thought I would you my situation as a stepping stone to the next level. Now I’m here and it’s phenomenal. So maybe you have a point.
