Too bad they couldn't do a "season ticket minus Mercyhurst" package that kept the pricing at the six-game level, as I think a lot of season ticket holders are going to skip that game based on its position in the schedule and known weak opponent MSU also played last year. It could've been a good chance to sell more single game tickets to new fans who have trouble attending due to the limited number of tickets available. I'm only about 38% joking with this idea!
This is a great idea. Six home games and a over in the first half game. I guess having SDSU here makes the Mercyhurst game a little easier to stomach.
Somewhat related to this, does anyone know if we're still trying the schedule MVFC games going forward? It would be great if we could play more home and homes with the Valley, regardless of the team(s).
Not sure, but I checked MSU's future football schedules after reading this question and found something VERY interesting scheduled for September 12, 2026.
Yeah, I'm excited for the Choate Bowl. It was announced a couple months ago I believe. Still the only OOC game on a post-2025 schedule at the moment.

Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

There is nothing preventing you from reselling your Mercyhurst ticket.

Wow not too much love or confidence for Choate from you.
I'll take the over on both wins and not expecting him to get fired at end of season.

I'm ready to renew my tickets but it would've been nice when they sent out the announcement of when sales begin if they would've added info about what the price increases are as opposed to:
Please be aware that with the addition of a 7th regular season home game pricing on all tickets and parking has increased.

Years? He averages around 3-4 years at each stop, right? So, if UNR can improve just a little bit, I see a possibility of 5-7 wins next season. That will give him a chance for a bowl game and a third year. Of course, that's dependent on what players he brings in this Spring and Summer. I don't think his current roster is strong at all. If he exceeds expectations in his third year and has a winning record, then he will stay for a fourth. It's a roll of the dice after that to whether he stays or looks for a bigger program. I don't think he believes his coaching ceiling is in a severely weakened MW conference, but he also isn't getting any younger and if he can turn around UNR, then he may get a chance at something better.

You sound like a jilted girlfriend. The guy won 3 games in his first season and lost 6 games last year by 7 or less. He knows how to rebuild a program. They will win 6 or 7 games next year, just like he progressed at MSU.

Anyway, back to the subject of this thread, just got an updated e-mail from the Bobcat ticket office.
Ticket prices increases as follows:
$50 sideline, $35 endzone for the extra home game, plus $25 sideline, $15 endzone for the Bobcat Club - per seat.
So, a total increase of $75 sideline/$50 endzone per seat.
Renewal opens at noon today.

Does anyone know how old a kid needs to be to require his or her own ticket? My nephew's daughter will be 3 this year and I'm in charge of the season tickets.

No kidding, if ticket prices keep rising like they have, this might be me standing at the gate in a few years.

I would wait another year before buying them a ticket. I took our 3 year old to 7 games without a ticket and never got a second look.

I wonder if UM increased their ticket prices considering they have like 10 home games next season. Hopefully the link to sell on Seat Geek works right off the bat this next season.
