"Business" would be a GREAT name for a beer...Joe Bobcat wrote: ↑Tue Dec 02, 2025 1:14 pmI'll be there nowhere near 12 beers deep. All Party brewed by MAP

He's many things. A professional is not one of them. Hiya.

A professional would crash any party:coachouert wrote: ↑Tue Dec 02, 2025 1:39 pmHe's many things. A professional is not one of them. Hiya.
Decibel meter on the scoreboard would be awesome.94VegasCat wrote: ↑Tue Dec 02, 2025 1:11 pmThis thread brought up two questions for me:
When does this semester end, student attendance will drop dramatically?
Has anyone ever thought about a decibel meter on the score board? Actual numbers not just a bouncing graphic.

My thoughts exactly. My ears actually physically hurt for a few seconds, and that hadn't ever happened to me before in Bobcat Stadium.BlueAndGoldNation wrote: ↑Tue Dec 02, 2025 12:44 pmThat 2021 SDSU playoff game was unreal, when Andersen made that stop on 4th down in the red zone during the 1st quarter, it might have been the loudest I've heard in there, and it set the tone for the rest of the game. I do have to say though, the Seth Brock blocked punt for a TD during Gold Rush this year might have topped the decibel meter for us. That was LOUD!GoldstoneCat wrote: ↑Tue Dec 02, 2025 11:50 amPlayoff crowds were great last year and grew each round. The other notable thing to me... it's less of a social event than September home games. Some of the best experiences and best crowds, loudest crowds ever are home playoff crowds. Idk if I ever remember a more electric day in that stadium than the sdsu semifinal. The place was engaged and off the hook from start to finish.
Our crowds normally know what team we are playing and when the stakes are higher, then us loud ones turn it up a notch to make it one of the best atmospheres in the FCS...

Big Sky? Where anyone can go? That’s for the Cornell peasants. Maybe the Yellowstone Club or the Montage are more Yale’s speed.
The scoop and run that got called back last year against USD in the semifinals was the loudest I’ve ever heard the stadium. I couldn’t hear and I had no idea what happened. I was also a little tipsy.grizzh8r wrote: ↑Wed Dec 03, 2025 1:29 amMy thoughts exactly. That was a loud play, but it wasn't blocked, the punter whiffed and Brock picked the ball up and scored.BlueAndGoldNation wrote: ↑Tue Dec 02, 2025 12:44 pmThat 2021 SDSU playoff game was unreal, when Andersen made that stop on 4th down in the red zone during the 1st quarter, it might have been the loudest I've heard in there, and it set the tone for the rest of the game.
