Back to back years going to Greeley. That’s odd.
Unbalanced is a nightmare. 2026 is a new multi-year schedule without suck state. and suu and Dixie joining.
Sorta wonder if the school likes an easy win in Colo. To show off school to Colorado and southern Wyoming recruits.
There are next to no NoCo/S WY recruits (who was the last non-Sheridan recruit from WY?) but I imagine the team likes a win with about as short a plane trip as possible and the game is always at Noon or 1pm so they get home at a reasonable time.
As a CO resident I'll take as many Greeley games as they give us.
Showing pressure on fourth down in overtime. They bring pressure. Lamson throws...Endzone! Caught! TOUCHDOWN!!! Taco Dowler!
And a kick away from a championship.
Here we go. Miles Sansted. Snap, hold, kick, Up, GOOOOD!! FOR A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!

Weber is also coming to Bozeman two years in a row, I'm sure they're (not) thrilled about that. I'm sure it's more challenging than we realize to get schedules to work out with teams leaving and entering as well as the switch to the 9-game conference schedule.

BOBCAT FOOTBALL 2026
Aug 29.........@ Utah Tech
Sep 5...........Butler
Sep 12.........@ Nevada
"Hello Coach Choate"
Sep 19.........Central Connecticut State
Sep 26.........NAU
Oct 3...........@ Idaho
Oct 10......... BYE
Oct 17..........@ EWU
Oct 24..........Weber
Oct 31..........Cal Poly
Nov 7...........@ ISU
Nov 14..........@ UNC
Nov 21..........gris
Not trying to be cocky but, the only games we might lose are Nevada & gris, followed by our road games at Idaho & ISU. I wouldn't be surprised if we are favored in all of them. The BYE is nicely placed again this year. Haven't followed Nevada much but FWIW they were 3-9 in 2025 and beat Sac State at home 20-17. Reno isn't Vegas, but not the worst place to spend a weekend.....just not easy to get there.
GO CATS!!!
Just a reminder......Labor Day 2027 CATS vs NDSU in Vegas at Allegiant Stadium, followed by Miami vs Utah the following day.
If you think that we might lose to the gris, then you aren’t cocky.
Thanks BSC for the bye week between two road games.
I don't like the bye between the 2 road games. Long time between home games. Sometimes struggle after a bye so like those at home.
Any thoughts on which game may be an ESPN game
Man it sure looks like NAU would be the best choice if they want to do it in Bozeman to take advantage of the atmosphere. The problem for that game is the gris are @ Davis that weekend and you would think that game would get the nod. @Idaho might be the next choice.

Yeah, I drove up from rio rancho, nm. Love buying seats (wearing bobcat colors) on the 50 yard line, north side...

A trip to Greeley is on my bucket list to finish out going to conference games away. I didn’t make it last year. Hopefully I can make it this year being late in the season.

The new scheduling formula (9 games + 2 new additions + Sac State leaving) made it impossible to keep the same pattern we're used to this season. I know Idaho is playing @ UM for a second year in a row as well. Shouldn't be an issue after this season

Probably vs NAU or @ Idaho for ESPN. Maybe @ EWU since they actually did fairly decent this season

That makes sense, since they’re one of our “protected rivals”.

We should welcome them the Big sky with an abnormally large drubbing.

At times, they looked pretty decent last year, but didn’t have much of a season. Looks like they had some skill, but not a lot of depth.

NoCo actually hasn't been one of our protected rivals for a few years now. Technically it's been Montana and EWU. Allegedly the Big Sky will give everyone 3 protected rivals, but they will announce those at a later date

None of you have asked so I thought I would just put it out there on social media - for the 2026 Schedule I will be running it back and returning next year for my 4th year (although pretty inconsistent) as Look-A-Like Thread (Starter) and 21st Year in Bobcat Nation. Once I am satisfied with the collective sigh of relief we can all finally move forward with the massive value that I bring to Bobcat Nation.
And what about running it back with the Hotties Thread?

I don't know why people aren't fearful of the griz. I learned on egriz all these portal guys they got are world beaters and it didnt matter they have no returning starters on D. The portal guys are better than the Indiana D I think they said....

The hotties thread can die off, those were always so damn creepy with some very uncomfortable comments. Boomers on here can goon to blurry photos of co-eds elsewhere

Excuse me, they have 1 returner on D. Considering they had 0 in 2025 that means they will definitely be world beaters in 2026.
