I've sent it to a handful of friends , but they're Griz fans and they're sure not sending it anywhere. I did see it tucked away in the comments section of a post on Facebook. It won't stay contained here forever.

The Montana Mint and "Bear Tycoon" have posted it to their twitter accounts. I mentioned to them that as much as I hate the griz, it's a bit heartless to post something like this, not toward the fans, but this kid is a real person at one of his worst moments. He wasn't asking anyone to take a picture of him, and in fact was apparently looking for privacy when it was taken.

I thought about that too. It's a sh*tty move by somebody to take that picture. If a player had done something bad in the heat of the battle (sworn at a ref, flipped off the fans, etc), we wouldn't give them a break. If it happened in a locker room we wouldn't know about it in the first place, but we wouldn't be too surprised or mad at them. Somebody screwed up big time by taking this picture and getting it into the hands of people like us who have gotten so much enjoyment out of it! But it's out there, and you can bet it's not going anywhere.

Kind of funny, I did a reverse image search on the photo and the number one result came up as a "Domestic short-haired cat."

It looks to me as though Monte is posing for the picture rather than actually having been caught unaware while crying in a storage room. Could be wrong though...

This is a fantastic picture, however I think it is an old photo. A picture online from this years game shows Monte with black shorts on...also I recognize that person, and he is no longer Monte.

Congratulations on the win yesterday, but you have exactly 5 wins (02, 10, 12, 16 and 18) at WGS since it opened. That’s more like renting by the hour than owning.....

MSU has won 4 out the last 5 in Missoula. That’s very impressive. I wonder how many other teams have had a similar run of wins at WashGriz over a 5 game stretch.

I was going to say EWU, but most of their recent wins against um came in Cheney. MSU must be the only team.
