I'm a big fan of Lamson. Is he the best QB I've seen in my 23 years as a die-hard Cat fan? No, but he's won me over with his toughness and his competitiveness.

And frankly it's a breath of fresh air having a QB who can sling it around pretty well (this isn't a knock on Tommy, Troy, Murray, don't come at me). Dude just looks like a QB back there.

I'd say they're pretty comparable except Chambers was a better runner than Lamson. I cringe every time i see Lamson on a QB draw or QB power, but he does do better on the read options rather than the straight up keepers.

They both sling the ball around really well and can zip it in there if need be, and Lamson made a couple of next level throws last Saturday and hopefully he keeps getting better, he has so far.
