Interesting to hear what Eck and players said after the game. Jaxon said that wad the best o-line they played all year. Which is impressive considering they played Oregon. Eck supports Tommy for the Walter Payton, as he does deserve it. Pretty cool to see such high praise.
I couldn’t find his presser. Do you have a link?
Eck was pretty complimentary overall, but I was a little surprised he kind of bragged about limiting Jones and said he wasn’t a reason they lost.

Adam did score more than Eck’s entire offense.
If 4 TDs qualifies as "limited" I wonder how bad it would have gotten had he busted loose!

Holding the Cats to under 300 yards rushing is a win I guess. Losing by 33, not so much.

In terms of yardage he isn't wrong, not many teams will be able to limit MSU's lead back to 4 YPC. Of course, MSU exploited the defense in other ways as they always do when teams sell out to stop the run. I loved the passes to RBs coming out of the backfield they did last night.
And if they had worked he would be a hero. Had to try to change the mo. Not the greatest of execution.
The announcers were super confused when he fell. They wondered if he didn't know where the 1st down stick was, thinking he saw the first one and thought that was it.
I know there will be a thread opened on Monday so I apologize to the mods in advance, but looking for 2 tickets to give as an early Xmas present to a friend in great falls. In case anyone has decent seats that they want filled by 2 alums, happy to cover ticket cost and fees!

Tickets should come available through the school at 1 on Monday.
Talking to Mark Fellows, the most impactful player in bobcat history.
No offense to any other Bobcat defensive legends, but Fellows was the most dominant defensive player I’ve ever seen in a Bobcat uniform. I never saw Kollar play though.

Tickets aren't on sale yet, except season ticket holders. You'll be able to buy them on Monday or Tuesday.

Would concur. I was too young to remember Kollar even if I was there. In Fellows' senior season he was unblockable. I think he would have had a nice NFL career if hadn't gotten hurt.

Few compare to Fellows, but Corey Widmer ranks right up there!
When they announced Mark Fellows presenting the flag before the game I turned to the fellow sitting next to me and told him Mark was the best defensive Bobcat player I ever saw play and I have been watching since 1968. There have a lot of great ones Bill Kollar being one and maybe second in my opinion but Mark was the best in my belief.

I think he was referring to his ypc (4.1) but it was affected by a lot of runs on the goal line and short yardage. He’s probably over 5.0 if not for those.

Fellows was great but not as good as Kollar in my opinion.

Other than Adam's 35 yard run on the first possession, I thought Idaho did a decent job limiting him. Probably as well as anybody has done this season against MSU RBs, as far as yardage goes.
Of course, giving up the 4 TDs was not good on Idaho's part.

4.1 is definitely under his average for sure, but I agree that it is skewed lower just by situational playcalling.
It’s just that it is hard to see 4 tuds as limited offensive production, and that production was often due to Adam’s extra effort after contact to get the ball across the plane.
