Would you guys who want a new coach want a guy with roots to MSU or just any new fresh guy who can win? Just curious....

As much as I hate the source, I would take Wayne Tinkle. I would take anybody, not Durham though. TIME TO GO.

This "two year plan". What a crock of sh!t. What about the seniors on the team that want to win. They are just the ponies that pulled the wagon, the young studs get to finish it up. What about the young kids, do they think in the back of their minds that "gee, when I am a senior, will coach just be planning for next year and right us off too?"

If Mick and the powers that be decide mutually to part ways, I'd like to see the young man that finished his collegiate career with New Mexico get a shot! I love what he did with Beye who's played the game about three years now? And if we're honest about the amount of play time this year, how much did Beye play? But, that's a HUGE IF...

What the hell are you smoking man??

We only had two seniors on this team this year, Woodall and Towsley. Woodall rarely played, and Towsley played early on, but (IMO) never played well; that is, he never asserted himself in the paint, used his size to his advantage, etc. If these two seniors "pulled the wagon", then I'm Bob Hope....

I'm NOT saying they didn't WANT to win. I'm saying that they didn't contribute/weren't used a whole helluvalot.

Edit:
I think Mick has done a good job in his tenure as the HC. He has had some tough times with bigtime players leaving over the past few years (Shea Washington, The European Big Man Whose Name I Can't Recall :?, and now Frank Brown). The situations regarding these talented players (an all of those guys can ball) were out of his control, and unforseeable by him. Imagine what we could have been like this year (or last year, for that matter) with Shea in the lineup. He is the "banger" type that all of us want on the blocks.
